2016 President's Trophy Champion Banner
2016 Eastern Conference Regular Season Champion Banner
2016 Metropolitan Division Champion Banner

That's three. 3>1. I win. Go Caps.

Oh man, maybe it's cause it was my first, but I got treated like a king. My wife even cooked for me, which is a pretty great rarity in my house. Not that she can't cook, I just cook better :lol

Yeah, I imagine it is much easier if you live nearby.

no one is skating circles around this Pens team, even a healthy Blackhawks...it would've maybe been an even skating matchup but that's about it

I agree for the most part but as far as skating D guys I think there are a number in the league who can skate as well if not better than Letang. On the Hawks Hjalmarsson is one of the best skaters and shutdown D guys they have - sure he doesn't rack up the points of Keith or Seabrook but he is one of the best defenders in the league.

ok that's fine, but again, no one is "skating circles" around this Pens team

some teams might matchup well, but skating circles? no way

With the way the Pens were playing, they would've done fine against the Hawks.

Yeah, I probably used the wrong phrase but if you could get say Toews, Kane and Panarin against a D pairing that didn't include Letang they would get plenty of chances, certainly more than the Sharks generated anyhow.

The team the pens play next round will definitely negate their speed... Oh wait.

if only more Penguins had the work ethic of a Jonathan Drouin...

Re: The NHL Thread

Bob Murray wants to add more speed to his lineup, just like the Pens.

The guy literally traded 2/3rds of the HBK line.

philly is more pissed off that wawa lost to sheetz in a recent convenience store poll. So philly.com created a poll to ask people which convenience store was better...obviously wawa won since there is no sheetz east of reading...they did it so they could feel good about themselves. God this city reeks.

Wasn't Philly also pissed off when a Pittsburgh cheesesteak was voted the best cheesesteak in PA in some poll? :lol

As someone who has lived in both cities. Wawa definitely better.

And yeah, I'm annoyed that the Pens won. I can't speak for the other guys, but hell yeah I'm annoyed that they're the best team in the league.
