Varlamov groin is acting up again. Too bad since the Avs are in the midst of a 2-game win streak... :rolleyes

And of course, the rumors are already swirling that Roy will be coaching Martin Brodeur by the end of the week.

Speaking of goalies and New Jersey, have we talked about the fact that Cory Schneider has started 19 straight games?! Wow. Come game 82, this guy's not even going to be able to skate anymore.

Willie Mitchell got a standing ovation for his return to LA tonight. Annoucment of Rob Blake inducted into Hall of Fame recieved minimal applause and plenty boo's. That speaks volumes.

I woke up still happy about the islanders win yet seemingly more giddy about the leafs score. That was awesome.

not sure how you don't have cable and expect to watch any sports reliably.

I was at the game Monday and they were completely dominated by Tampa. Not sure what's going on, I would have thought with a couple guys coming back from injury things would turn around. Going again tonight against Philly so slightly optimistic this will at least be a contest.

The worst part is that the Leafs have Dion Phaneuf at a $7 million cap hit until he's like...80.

Had NJ Winnipeg on for a bit last night and man does Jagr still look good. Hard to believe at 43 he can still play so effortlessly.

Ridiculous athlete but as Barbogast will attest, Jagr is really 40 because he took 3 years off in Washington. :lol:lol

unbelievable heart on this kid. he played pretty well last night too

now that i'm getting "older" it's hard for me to look at these athletes as my role models or what have you, especially now that a lot of these guys are younger than me. But not with Olli....i'll look up to him and wear his sweater proudly. Kid has more courage than i could ever hope for
