Yeah he'll run off with Radulov. Make his money and not play have to play hard or any D. It sucks cause he's a hell of a player and wouldn't mind seeing him on Datsyuk's wing if he had some work ethic. Could Pavel and Zetterberg help with that? Maybe but not worth the risk imo.

What's sad is I was only half kidding when I said he'd run off with Hunter, because at times he played some really good, all around hockey under him. I still rave about his dive to save the breakaway back in the first round.

Now I'm not saying he particularly likes playing defense and such, but I am saying that those games under Hunter proved that with the right coach, Semin can do well. If anyone, Babs could be that guy. The big question, as you and DJ both alluded to, is he willing to put in the work to be a team player? My guess is no. He'll enjoy a lovely KHL career.
