In response, his team completely fell apart around him, taking stupid penalties which will likely result in suspensions and looking like a bunch of goons in the process. Crosby didn't help himself after the game either, where he had the chance to discuss firing the team up and instead sounded like a 5 year old with his "I don't like them" rhetoric.

Everyone around hockey -- literally everyone -- is talking about what an immature punk Crosby was yesterday. And yet, somehow, you know more than everyone else, and Crosby is being treated unfairly yet again, or is suffering from some sort of post-concussion personality disorder (probably the stupidest thing I've heard on this topic). It's laughable.

How many Cpatains in the league have a Cup and another finals appearance on their resume? Sid's doing okay as a leader, no matter what you or the the people in the media think or say about it. The stuff you're complaining about are just hockey plays. I'm guessing you don't watch the game enough to know this.

Flyers say they don't like the Pens all the time. Where is your outrage at that? Where is everyone elses?

I said what the Pens did yesterday was dumb. Is Sid supposed to jump in front of Asham or Neal? Stop Adams from getting involved with Hartnell? Like it or not Asham and Neal did their job. As long as their is violence in hockey, there is going to be plays like that.

Personality changes and concussions are a fact of life. Sid has been different since his injury. Not sure what makes that dumb.

Those are automatic penalties for "instigating". I'm guessing Asham gets 5, and Neal gets 1. Both deserve it.

I think most of us should be able to agree with this. What happened yesterday...I think you have to chalk most of it up to frustration, something that nearly that entire team showed. They lost their cool, and Crosby can't control the actions of his entire team. Unfortunately, he also didn't rise above it himself. But, it's one game and obviously it's easy to, in the moment, blow things like this a bit out of proportion.

But anyway, enough about Crosby, hockey is back on.

I say let's stop talking about the Pens as tomorrow will most likely be the last game of their season given the meltdown yesterday.

I'm glad flyers got rid of asham. I think Neal should get 2. We will have to see what shanny gives out tomorrow

Yes, but in 2013. :D

Good start in Ottawa. Refs setting the tone early with pretty soft calls for each team.

It was good to see Richards get kreider involved early.

I couldnt stand Asham when the Flyers had him. I couldnt stand Carcillo and now I cant stand Rinaldo. They all suck and do nothing positive. I understand you need players like that but why cant those players also be good at hockey? :lol

Rinaldo can only move in one direction. If he has the puck hes going straight.

I believe they carry into the start of the season, but he can play in preseason. I am not entirely positive

Well that should have been a penalty shot. Holtby can't throw his stick at the puck.

He didn't throw his stick at puck. He was reaching to bring it in to freeze and simply lost the handle. Wouldn't have even been close to Bruins getting a chance had he not lost the handle and Green shot it back at his own net.

Learn hockey plz.

Can't throw your stick at the puck. Clearly he was indecisive about whether or not to bring it in or do it and hesitated and lost the stick but that's throwing the stick at the puck. Just cuz he didnt hit it doesn't mean he didn't do it.

:lol

Only homer Bruins fans could see it this way. It was a complete non-chance for the Bruins. Sure the maybe the refs could have called it that way if they went by the exact wording of the rule, but it would have been a terrible call.

And it's really funny after there was actually a much more borderline stick throw when Ovechkin had a scoring chance last game. And Bruins fans are going to complain about a play this innocent. :rolleyes
