This is a tradition in Vancouver as well, only they wait until after the lose in the finals to start this fan activity.

sounds like goaltending has to step up. happy it's a good series, though. either team is certainly deserving. hopefully, I can watch game 5

Wasnt really goaltending. Murray stopped a lot of chances. The Defense though struggled. Hainsey played like the puck was grenade.

Can't forget Montreal, the biggest collection of cry babies in all of sports!

I'm still kicking myself for not going to Nashville for game 3 on Saturday. If the Predators can somehow win game 5 in Pittsburgh, I don't think I'll be able to stay away on Sunday. I might go regardless, but an opportunity to clinch the Cup at home would make it a no brainer for me.

One thing is for sure, the defense is going to have a major over haul this off season. Nice thing is a lot of money is coming off the books

he's had an up and down playoff but there aint a chance he's the worst when youve got Hainsey and Streit.

I just dont know what happened to him from when he was a rookie skating circles around people. He put on some weight and lost like 2 steps.

I think theyll end up parting ways with him. They need to ink Dumo, he is as solid as you can want for a 2nd pairing guy.

All throughout yesterday's game I found myself saying," you better not fuck this up for the rest of us with your dumb shit, James Neal."

God, he's the shits.

The cancer probably had an impact.

You're still assuming MAF will be gone?

Bonino and Sheary are getting major raises. Doumolin & Schultz are RFA's.

I'm starting to think this series is going 7 with the home team winning them all.

Kunitz is likely gone, i dont think they re-sign daley, cullen and dupuis (ltir, but they'd be able to use that money). Dont know if they try and sign Bonino. And yes assuming Maf is gone. I wish capgeek was still around because i am forgetting something. Sheary is also rfa

Re: The NHL Thread (where the Presidents Trophy matters!)

Assuming MAF and Kunitz are off the books, Pens will have some cash to play around with to make some necessary upgrades. Defense is looking more like a priority.

But with Sprong likely to come up to the big club next year and cap room to make adjustments, the Pens should still be killer next year (barring fatigue and catastrophic injury, of course.) So while I will be disappointed if they lose, I won't be crushed. The window is still open.

Before I head out to the Dave & Tim show tonight, I figured I would see if anyone else from the NHL thread will be there. I will be rocking a Matthews #34 shirt for the concert. I couldn't resist buying that for tonight :lol

(BTW, I bought it after his goal against the Caps in the last game....sorry Barbs).

Toffoli got extended for 3 yrs for $13.8. Pretty fair for his production. See what he can do in a new system
