Have to watch on gamecast, what the fuck happened?

Re: The NHL Thread

Tarasenko put in what appeared to be the go-ahead goal, putting Blues up 2-1. Q challenged it. Play was ruled offsides so no goal. Next shift Tarasenko took his anger out on Shaw's stick. Called for slashing. Shaw scored on the PP. Hitch challenged for goaltender interference. Goal was upheld and ruled good goal. Hawks up 2-1.

Unbelievable win on that challenge. I mean, technically the correct call but that was ridiculously close. No way you can get that right in real time.

Lol wasn't own goal. Goalie pulled, Duncan Keith threw outlet pass that Panarin apparently touched.

Yeah they corrected it after I wrote it.

Was listening to XM on the way home, was Blues broadcast. For the rest of the game all they talked about was the missed goaltender interference call and how inconsistent that rule is. It's always a coin flip when it's close. Sucks a call like that determines a game.

Also, I haven't seen the play yet.

I am sure that was a real rattled broadcast.

I don't think Panarin touched that puck to be honest. Damn what a game, I will take a split on the road. Dumb challenge on the Shaw goal IMO but Q's challenge was smart, it was close but the refs got it right. Shaw is one pesty player, love his energy. Loved how Keith made his return and shut all those blues fans up who booed him every time he came near the puck. Kane gets a pair of assists as well. That goal the Blues scored with a second left was pretty much nothing to worry about, game was over for all intents and purposes, just made it a 3-2 final. Now back to Chicago for 2 games. Going to be a brutal series from here on. Hell yeah, nice win - go Hawks and build on that momentum!!!!!!!! :)

lol uhhhhhhh I mean...maybe sometimes? But this was definitely not one of those times. Clear good goal.

Got tickets to games 4 and 6. Hopefully don't need 6.

It was clearly a good goal, first the war room in Toronto called it a good goal - he put it in with his stick, then the Blues challenged it and the on ice call was upheld!

Hope so too, Hawks could win two in Chicago to make it a 3-1 series and hopefully finish St. Louis off in game 5! :)

That's a 50/50 call in real time. I get what you're saying but there are limits to what the brain can do in real time. Even looking at that in super slo-mo was very, very close.

Remind you of last season when Kane was injured only to come back for the playoffs and took over, Pretty sure it is safe to say no team got a better guy back for the playoffs - just like last season. Keith is a game changer just like Kane, so good to get him back.

One gripe though, Kane had a breakaway and got slashed in the hand from behind but no penalty was called.
