Boyle: http://youtu.be/dP5eit2kkDA

They were both blindside hits, I can see suspension for Glass but not Boyle. Don't think intent was there for Boyle but still a dangerous play. Can't find a different angle on the Glass hit but it looks like it could be shoulder to shoulder hit.

at least the officials in this game took action

Flyers did much dirtier things and got away with them. NHL needs WAY more consistency and stricter enforcement across the board

are you talking about Sunday's game? Cause other than the Wayne Simmonds incident, I'd say both teams were on the same level as being dirty.

no, they weren't

and it was Wayne Simmonds being dirty more than once, including clear intent to injure Murray

Flyers players being dirty?

I'm shocked

Pens fans crying about it?

Now I'm really shocked

not crying, we won 6-2 which is the most important thing

i'm crying about the lack of discipline league-wide though. it's unacceptable

Oh, are we just going to forget about the dangerous hit on Andrew MacDonald now?

Got it.

It just a joke friend

And actually I tend to agree with you on this stuff. Haven't seen anything from Sunday's game but we're generally on the same page with the garage league stuff

So weird in sports when that stuff happens. You expect a team to falter and they don't. Malkin with the Pens is the same way.

Yeah, never can figure out why this happens at times. Couldn't have happened at a better time for the Hawks. Hopefully it carries over tomorrow and Saturday!

love the resilience of the Penguins right now. however, if last night's game reinforced anything it's that we need a healthy Fleury for any kind of deep playoff run

i like Matt Murray, but he's still vulnerable

Agreed on Fleury.

LOL MacDonald tripped over his own feet which is what made it look bad

a 2 minute boarding call would've been fine but there was no intent to injure there. if MacDonald didn't skate like a newborn fawn he would've been fine

Even if he didn't trip, it's still a clear boarding. That's intent to injure. You never hit a guy in the numbers.

The hit and what Simmonds were the same. They cancel each other.

no one on the penguins tried to slash someone's throat with a stick

meh i'm not gonna go there.

no one "deserves" an injury but honestly, a 2 minute boarding would've been fine there. Kuhnhackl hit him in the numbers, which is bad, but he didn't hit him very hard. he was already on his way down before he got hit which is what made it look bad

yea, it's a clear pattern for Therrien

guy comes in, changes the mentality for the better, underachieves in the playoffs, then his message gets stale

rinse, repeat

Relax man, I'm in class typing with one finger on a phone.

Don't act so rattled. If you can't handle the NHL thread without getting offensive and calling people morons...perhaps who should take a break from sports to gain a little perspective on life..

Roll your eyes all you want, but you know your response was an overreaction that can only come from being rattled...
