There have been times where I just can't stop watching him when he's on the ice. I don't even watch the puck, just him. And every little thing he does is magic. Positioning, skating, breakouts, knowing when to body check vs poke check vs just get in a lane. Everything.

His decision-making, IMO, is what really sets him apart. You mentioned Lidstrom - arguably the best decision-maker out there - and Dunc is reminding me a lot of him.

Not to take away from Seabs, who has been phenomenal as well.

The Hawks need a big series from #10 and the 3rd line. I feel like Sharp spent too much of the Anaheim series trying to dance around defensemen instead of just firing pucks. When this guy starts to get confidence, you are adding another top-line level scorer to a big lineup, and that 3rd line is going to get a lot of chances against the Lightning's bottom-6. Gonna be a hell of a series.

Don't if talked about yet, but did you guys see you needed a FL zip code to purchase tix right away
And Blackhawks apparel is not allowed in most sections of the Arena
Didn't know that shit was legal

I agree, but the problem is that Sharp is at his best when he can sneak into open spots backdoor and fire pucks top shelf. That's vintage #10. And that's best served with #88.

I think 10-91-88 would be a magical line, especially matched up against the speed of this Lightning team. It's a shame we haven't seen it much this year.

Re: The NHL Thread

That players tribune article was really good. I think he's right that it will come down to Tampa's 4-7th defenseman. Sustr, Carle, and Garrison haven't been as good as Stralman and Hedman, so how they play will certainly matter. Tampa's demeanor and attitude can't be stated enough as a positive for them. They are a confident and calm team that thinks they can beat anyone if they play their game. Obviously the Hawks have much more playoff experience than Johnson, Palat, and the young forwards for the Lightning, but guys like Brenden Morrow, Coburn, Callahan, and Stralman bring that veteran leadership for us. It's going to be a great series and am looking forward to being there for Game 5 (assuming there is one). Kane, Toews, Sharp, Hossa are definitely going to have their chances but I like Tampa in 7. Good luck Blackhawk fans!

Which honestly makes sense. You don't want a bunch of Blackhawk fans buying up your home game tickets. You guys have a national following, I get that, but so shouldn't the Tampa fans not have to worry about getting bought out of their own Arena? They are top 10 in the league in attendance every year and have the local fan base. Just not the thousands to flock across the country. Ironically enough I will be driving from SC to FL for Game 5, assuming there is one.

And I'm sorry but that is just incorrect.

"Only Lightning-branded or ‘neutral’ attire and apparel will be permitted in the Club and the Club-designated seating areas during 2014-2015 Lightning playoff games (including any pre-game and any post-game activities)."

It isn't most sections of the Arena. And they aren't the first team to do something like this, it's not something they just made up, and it's pretty understandable. They want the lower sections to be filled with their plans.

You had to have a FL Zip code to buy tickets through Ticketmaster. And Blackhawks apparel is restricted in 3 club level sections, approximately 1500 seats - the other ~18000 seats are fair game.

Favorite sports moment second only to Miracle on Ice. from Joe (who didn't even lift it) and straight to Bourque was incredible.

Killorn has quietly been one of the best players this postseason. He's tremendous on the forecheck as well. Really a quality player.

I watch that's few times a year. Unbelievable. I remember watching that as a kid in junior high and getting chills. Still do. That is what, in a nutshell, sets hockey apart. Class is the norm. Not the exception.

Tampa's forecheck very effective so far

They're making some mistakes in the D zone though.
Being down only 1 or tied after this period is a win for the Blackhawks given the fact they're on the road and the flow of the game so far
