I have an extremely bad habit of telling lies to get out of small confrontations. they are always small lies and small situations I'm getting out of but they are lies.

for example, I got a call back to interview for a job I applied for a while ago. my wife texted me during the day to ask if I had heard about the job, because I hadn't mentioned anything about it since applying. I said, oh yeah, now that you mention it, I am interviewing for it next week. she got mildly peeved that I hadn't told her about it when I scheduled it. so, in order to get her to not be mad, I said that I had only finalized the scheduling of the interview that day, and that's why I hadn't told her, when in actuality I had been meaning to tell her for the two days since I scheduled it, but it just kept slipping my mind. she didn't believe me so I came clean about having lied in order to try to keep peace and she went nuclear.

you single people will be like WTF is the big deal about that but it adds up in a relationship. gotta work on it.

God damn I do this all the time. Sometimes I just do it for fun. I really need to work on it.

tbh, i just kind of stay here because its basically where i grew up and i like keeping a home base. i've toyed with moving to dallas or austin, but i kind of like OK's low cost of living, gives a bit more freedom.

but the thing i enjoy most would probably be POPS, which i guess is technically arcadia but god damn im a sucker for soda.

oh yeah, 2 hours is just long enough to get used to me and the exact breaking point of getting sick of me. most of my social interactions are 2 hours for that reason.

not every time but most times. shits like 2 dollars a bottle for anything besides your average colas but some of them are just too good to pass up. Boyd's Diet Cane Cola is fantastic.

couple times, i like looking out onto the pastures and reflecting.

oh jeez so many, but first thing that comes to mind is from its always sunny. when charlie and frank have to eat cat food to go to sleep. thought i was going to need an oxygen tank
homecoming king of a HS i didn't even go to anymore
lost touch with a friend that committed suicide, he tried to hang out a couple times in the month leading up to it but i blew him off. a slight bit of bad blood there so i wasn't being a total prick, but i regret that a lot

my dad makes a good bit of money, but my moms family made a boatload through oil. it was given to her. parents got divorced, she didn't want any money, she's a "free spirit". gave it all to my dad.
