There is a link in the bottom of the article in the link. Nsfw, though.

Maybe it was 6 or 7) and he acted EXACTLY like this. Kid was such a pompous fuck.

Kids that play in the OHL or ECHL are mostly like this. Stuck between being good enough for the A or NHL and being in men's leagues like me. Somehow that just cultivates this nasty dickish attitude like they're too good for normal people and can fuck whatever they want.

Agreed. It amazes me how down-to-earth and grounded many pro hockey players are (many, not all), yet how scumbaggy guys in the amateur ranks are. Seriously, it's nowhere near uncommon, like you said. Some of the biggest douche bags I've ever met are amateur hockey players.

Podge Turnbull was his name, btw. Just remembered it. If any of y'all were curious.

If Sean Avery was an enforcer, consider me Miles Davis.

This is seriously one of the things that depresses me the most. Advertising, in general, has gotten out of hand, and it's only getting worse. The world of "Idiocracy" isn't really too far far fetched. I mean, coaches can't even give press conferences without product placement.

Why does EVERYTHING need to be a chance to put your product in people's faces? I'm boycotting any jersey that has an ad on it as long as I can. Fuck. That.

Great win by the Preds tonight. Always glad to take Dallas down.

Just finished the game. West coast games are killer.

Quote of the day, "we got a point against a really good team tonight". - Daryl Sutter. Makes this guy feel warm and tingly. :lol

Back to back wins vs quality teams to right the ship. A win in Phoenix Saturday and it would be a very successful 5 game west coast swing.

Islanders beat writer for Newsday says that the team mvp so far, other than JT, has been Boychuk, "both on the ice and in the room". Thanks again Chiarelli. No negotiations started yet and I can only hope a deal can get done before UFA.
