To celebrate the end of the Dave Matthews Band’s 25th anniversary year, we have curated a collection of 25 of our favorite unreleased live performances spanning the band’s early years in Virginia though the twenty-tens. The end result, DMB Live 25, is a limited edition 5 LP 180 gram collection. The set is housed in a fabric-wrapped, lift-top box and contains a foil-stamped, hard cover book featuring photographs exhibited in the DMB 25 Pop-Up Retrospective.

Due to production limitations, the box set is capped at 2500 units. DMB Live 25 is available now as a pre sale to all Warehouse members in the Warehouse Official Store. Remaining inventory will then be available as a pre sale to the general public on July 12th at 3:00PM ET.

It looks like they really put time into these selections. I wish they would have given the WH CD this year the same amount of attention! I am itching to buy it, but I'm not going to spend $175 on it when I don't even own a record player... Really hope this comes out on CD/digital download.

Honestly, for a second, I thought this was the long discussed live, not live release that even Dave has mentioned before. All of the tracks that never seem to make albums, but have been recorded, being dropped in one big box set. That was a bit of a downer, but the set and track selection is awesome none the less.

I bought the whole massive set because I'm insane. LOL

But no digital option is a low blow. They better offer one... That would be extremely fucked up. I'm sure it will be offered as a CD Set which is fine (because I'll end up buying that as well) but everyone who buys this should get a digital option. EVen if its delayed until the CD is in production or something... That just does not make an ounce of sense.

I just got off the phone with MusicToday and was told "it probably will" contain a download code although they couldn't confirm it. They are waiting for an answer from The Warehouse and said the site will reflect the answer as soon as they receive word.

I know this doesn't confirm (or rule out) anything but I thought I'd share. The recommendation I received was to check back before the pre-sale window closes.

According to Copperpot on twitter, this Say Goodbye was released on the Best of What's Around, but the date is mislabeled... so 24 previously unreleased tracks instead of 25

No it wasn't. The Say Goodbye on the BOWA set was labeled Denver 2000, but it was actually Dallas 2000 or something. This one hasn't been released.

No, this is the actual Denver 2000 Say Goodbye. The BOWA disc was mislabeled as Denver but the actual track released was the Detroit 2000 Say Goodbye.

These are all previously unreleased.

This is what I was going to post. They released 7/5, not the Denver 7/25 on this release. The BOWA CD incorrectly labeled it as Denver.

I'm not understanding where everyone is getting this "vinyl-only" language from. The article on the AM homepage says it states this in the email. I've read (and re-read) the email and I don't interpret any of what's in the email (or the Facebook post, or the Tweet) as this being vinyl-only. Sure, it's a limited edition vinyl LP. But what in any of the official press says there won't be other formats becoming available afterwards?
