Also, that's the first game this season that the Kings have lost when ahead at the start of the 3rd.

Kings were like 120-1-11 or something when leading after two before yesterday.

And how bad is it for Tootoo? Can't even get a call-up amidst all this. Kinda understandable, at this point Detroit is just thinking of getting some experience for the youngsters, methinks.

I think experience for the kids is a big part but also need some skill and the kids give you more of that than Tootoo does.

Out of curiosity who would you all pick for the following?

Favorite player on your team? Least favorite player? Up and coming player you like a lot?

My favorite has to still be Giroux, but the way Sean Couturier plays he is starting to make a case against OMGCG. I do not like Coburn, he makes some dumb plays at time and he irks me. My up and comer has to be Michael Raffl. He plays with such intensity and gives his all every game. Bonus, whenever he does something good I can chant Awful Raffl, Awful Raffl in reminiscence of Salute Your Shorts.

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

Favorite current player is a toss up between Pavel and Hank. Just not an easy choice. Up and comer? Nyquist has played a little bit now but if not him Tatar. Least favorite? Smith maybe. But that's cause I wish he was better than he is to this point.

Ray Ferraro was in the booth on the Wings broadcast talking about his son's debut tonight. Can't imagine what's going through his mind as a father. I forgot he played for the Blues. His last game was at JLA and his son's first is there.

bonzo48280 03-18-2014 07:06 PM

Favorite player has to be 19!

Least favorite is tough between Bollig and Handzus. Probably Handzus. He has absolutely no use on the Hawks.

Up and coming played technically would be Leddy or Saad but only because Tevuo isn't here yet. What a lovely situation that is.

7 goals for the NYR so far tonight and not one from Martin St. Louis yet?

.

Favorite: Kaner, just because I like his style and he is ridiculous to watch. Toews is a bigger asset, but Kane is more entertaining and I like his style. Hossa is a very close second.

Least Favorite: Handzus. The fact that Kane only recently scored his first goal with Zus on the ice is all that needs to be said. He doesn't fit the team's overall style/pace of play IMO.

Up and coming: I am all over the Teuvo train already. Excited to see what he can bring in the future.

Toews is the best player in the NHL

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

Favorite player is Okposo, followed closely by JT , then Hamonic.

Least favorite - tough one as I generally like those that don the logo. Choose Amy of the dman not named Hamonic or Visnovsky.

Favorite up and comer. - on the team, Strome , but on the farm would be Griffin Reinhart. Can't wait to see what he can do next year.

And Kreider no points either. Come on. Playoffs start next week. I'm sort of in bit I get blown out this week, there is a chance I could be out. Ugh.

@Tim - realistically, when does Dats come back. Tempted to drop him as I need that ir spot now. Can't afford an empty roster spot cause an injured guy is on the active roster.
