Re: The NHL Thread
Sorry, that's not funny. I truly feel bad.

Re: The NHL Thread
It's kinda funny, in that so bad you just have to laugh kind of way.
I wonder if it's just a matter of time before someone like taylor hall starts looking at an exit strategy if a turnaround isn't looking likely. |
Re: The NHL Thread
I mean, hindsight is always 20/20, but I was 2nd guessing that Yakupov draft pick when it happened...how did that pick make ANY sense?
I get that they didn't luck out like the Hawks where their 1st round picks ended being as game changing as Kane and Toews, but Yakupov just didn't make any sense at all on that team ever. |
Re: The NHL Thread
They should have gone after Murray or Rielly.

I get that a lot of times taking the "best" player available is often the best strategy. I have eaten crow twice in recent memory when I was upset at the Avs for not selecting Dougie Hamilton and Seth Jones and instead going after these two bums named Landeskog and MacKinnon. Whoops. But it's different in that the Oilers, in that "weak" draft, didn't have a clear-cut "best" player to go after. Quote:

Yeah the little screwball went 0-fer and a -1. Thanks for doing nothing for my fantasy club in your first ever NHL game, Drouin. :rolleyes

Re: The NHL Thread
Circling back about those former NHL 14 folks that moved over to FIfa 15 on the Xbone? Anyone here that have it?

Re: The NHL Thread
Looks like Datsyuk will be back tonight but still on Franzen. One day they'll be 100% healthy....right?
|
Re: The NHL Thread
so CBJ played back-to-back last Friday/Saturday. home against Calgary and then on the road against an Ottawa team that was off Friday.
Then they get the entire week off basically and play 3 games in 4 days on the west coast. I'm not complaining about CBJ specifically because from what I've seen most teams are having to deal with this same issue but why is the schedule so jacked up this year? or am i just imagining this completely? |
Re: The NHL Thread
No Crawford tonight means the Flyers will get shutout.

I'd move a couple teams up or down a couple slots, but for the most part, spot on. |

Re: The NHL Thread
Worst period of the year. Disgusting. We need to beat a team like this at home if we want to make the playoffs. We were not good at home last year and that needed to change, this year. :mad

Re: The NHL Thread
No Coburn. Mason is gonna face 50 shots tonight like Hiller.

Re: The NHL Thread
Man Wings PP is bad. Can't get anything going

Re: The NHL Thread
Horrible minute for the bs. Up 2-1. I lost power, came back about a minute later and it's 3-2 sharks.
