Although I am anxious to see how he does with a coach that doesn't hate him and plays him properly.

He has dropped in production over the past few seasons but (careerwise) a guy who puts up a point every two games - he is also a physical force and great leader. He is also still pretty young and with some additional guys to help on his line he shoudl revert to 20+ goal/50+ point guy again and given his other talents I would certainly give him honorable mention. Is he Tarasenko, Kane, Benn or Ovie - of course not but he is a damn solid player who brings a lot to the table and could be a force again if put on a line with some support.

It's one of their better lists, I think. I'd probably add Brandon Saad there somewhere ahead of Simmonds and Oshie. Hall is probably a little too low. Laine is probably too high considering it's only one season. I'd put Tarasenko, Been and Ovie above Marchand.

Other than that I think it's pretty good.

Yeah, the list is pretty solid, tough to bitch too much about any of their selections. Be interesting to see their D list when they publish it and I will be stunned if Karlsson is not #1 by a rather large margin.

Shit, I didn't even notice they left Voracek off the list. I think he's a top 20 winger. Then again, I'd put him on par with near the bottom of that list so I'm sure he was on the cusp of it.

Pretty fun article from DGB lately on the best jersey number in hockey. I think it's a no brainer that #33 provided the best starting lineup

Went to HersheyPark today with the fam. So many yinzers. Lots of b2b Cup champs shirts. Had to come from the strip. Looked like those knock off shirts.

Got me the top of the lower bowl for Wings and Rangers on Dec 29th. The one end Wings only shoot for one period but...what ya gonna do. For the game against CBJ I'm going solo I'm on their new mezzanine level, again in the end where Wings shoot only once but more in the corner and being front row that high, should be a decent seat. I like no on in front of me.

I lied. lol Checked one more time and got lower level where the Wings shoot twice for only $10 more than I was about to spend on mezzanine tickets. I said fuck it, $10 to get a little closer. Still a lot but...whatever.

I just confirmed my trip to Chicago on October 14th for Hawks v Preds! Can't wait to go to Chicago in fall!

I am also going to be in Boston the week before that and will try to go up on Thursday to catch the B's v. Preds game. I am just not sure if I can get out of work for that.
