I can't even imagine how the band dealt with it...
I can easily see them being closer with each other than with their families....
There's just some songs and you hear that sax and it makes me want to cry because only Roi will play it in that way nobody will compare....=[

i think things are on the up-swing for the band now... its getting close to tour time, and theyre prolly getting ancy, wanting to play... i think this spring tour is going to be a real growing experience for band and fan alike... it should be a great great time!

Dave put it into perspective stating, "There's no place I'd rather be than here with you guys right now." We cherish special memories of our lost friend. Tonight, Dave told a story about LeRoi at a bar in Virginia where the cash register was near the stage and LeRoi leaned on the register because "standing had become a chore". Roi proceeded to play the most beautiful version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Dave said, "that was the day I fell in love with him. And I'm still in love with him." I'm missing Roi lately. I'm just gonna miss his smooth, cool style of playing. He was so good, even on the below average songs he shined. It'll never be the same with out him. This is a new chapter in DMB's history, and LeRoi's chapter will never be replaced or forgotten. We love ya Roi
