Frolik blows. At least Brouwer has a decent shot. Frolik is lost in the woods as soon as he crosses the red line. That was a giant swing and a miss by Bowman.

But honestly it is ridiculous that both of these guys got those deals as RFA a year removed from their last 20-goal seasons. Wtf?
Agreed, but we weren't going to keep Brouwer, so the fact that we got a first round pick for his negotiating rights is amazing. I'm pretty happy with that.

Frolik sucks, we all know that. He still should be skating now though. Bollig looked completely lost Thursday.

Yet there are still plenty of Hawks fans (not around here) that still bitch about Stalberg, who potted 22 ES goals, 43 pts, in 13 minutes a game. None of which was on the PP.

No, I totally agree. Great move by Bowman. Unfortunately he negated it by giving Frolik his deal.

But yeah, put in Hayes to lay some hits, put in Frolik, get 15 and 52 out of the lineup. Then at least the 4th line can play a bit more. I can definitely see more games going to OT against Phoenix, and they will have a significant advantage in OT every time unless Q is able to ice a better 4th line.

I honestly expected the Bruins to be putting up massive numbers against this Caps team. Insane that there have been 2 OTs and only 3 total goals in this series so far.

Eh the Caps got healthy at the right time. I wanted Ottawa for obvious reasons. I knew this would not be easy.

Not worried. Seen this team come back from a lot worse. The offense will get going and the D won't slow down. They have the Caps figured out they just need to get going with the scoring.

I love this Rangers team. Callahan is a hell of a captain, and Hank deserves it. I like Brad Richards too. They are my Eastern Conference team.
