Agreed, they do not draw much but I think that is both geographic and marketing related. They have a legit shot at making the playoffs so I am not really sure why people (even casual fans) would not want to go see them play some meaningful games down the stretch.

Hell, with their ticket prices I would be going to games every time they played the Hawks or other good teams if I lived in that area.

Their big problem is Carolina competes with the Hornets and super high-quality college basketball during the heart of hockey season every year.

Edit: Charlotte switched their name back to the Hornets in 2014-2015. I pay attention to the 76ers and the teams actually competing for the championship I can't believe I missed the name change :lol

Very, very solid trade by the Caps. No roster player lost AND the Kings keep half the cap hit? Mac continuing to kill it.

Plus DSP cleared waivers. I bet we see him again come playoff time. I’m a tiny bit surprised no one took him based solely on his proven playoff clutchness (last year was not the first time Devante shows up big in the playoffs)

Is anyone ITT legit upset over the celebration?

Perhaps I’m biased because Kuzy is awesome - but I don’t see the issue with the celebration. Hockey players experience the emotions of the game better than anyone

I expect he’ll flourish with the Caps. They won’t expect anything more than what he can reasonably give them. He also won’t be just handed a ton of ice time. He’ll have to compete with the solid guys already in the bottom six. And he’ll excel because of that.

Hearing today. Probably gets a fine. I haven't seen the hit but I have a hard time beleiveing the NHL will suspend one of, if not their biggest players for their first offence. Then again, you never know where there roulette wheel of justice will stop.
