Glad I get a hometown show for the first time since '09. Looking forward to it! Hopefully the Preds will be in prime playoff form at that time too...should make for a fun spring.

It looks like this might be the only one for me this tour this year. My coworker is going on a long cruise in July, so I won't be able to make Alpharetta or Charlotte most likely.

Former Nashvillian here, living in Texas now.

Very excited for a full band show back in the area! It should be a great weekend.

Posted this in another thread, but when booking hotels/houses etc, Steeplechase is that day as well. But with the number of hotels in and around downtown now, shouldn't really make a difference.

Convinced my wife to hit this show with me. Will be her second time seeing the band (first was 3 days before we got married).

Air Bnb is the way to go for Nashville. I stayed at a nice basement apartment last time I stayed overnight instead of driving back to Memphis. I wanna say for 2 nights the place was like $120. Only like 15 min away and it was good to have a place to chill all day.

Hey Derrick! Yeah 2017 was awesome...the 2-nighter D&T was great and it aligned perfectly with a Preds game on that Sunday (Preds game at 2pm; D&T down the street at the amphitheater at 8pm).

How many shows are you looking at doing this summer?

I remember sitting in the lawn N2 and seeing a flood of people in Preds jerseys enter the venue. That weekend was insane.

Not sure if they’ve ever done this, but since Nashville hasn’t been a normal stop for them recently: what are the chances they add a Friday date at Bridgestone depending on how well/quickly the Saturday date sells? As of now there’s nothing scheduled on 5/10 at Bridgestone, and the band’s show leading up to Nashville is 5/7. Not sure how NHL playoffs would work into the mix (if the Preds are involved).

Are additional shows something they’ve done in the past? Doesn’t seem out of the question considering it’s an arena show in a non-traditional City.

After a pretty darn good run of shows at Starwood, it’s been awful to lose the DMB experience in town, 2009 aside.

Perhaps we will get Bela, Victor, and Futureman back on stage...
