These Days Continue... On Ants
anyone know what's going on over there? site has been down for a while
|
Re: ISO: tdc.org
Down for me too. They probably need to renew the host server, this has happened in the past.

Re: ISO: tdc.org
Bummer...

Re: ISO: tdc.org
glad somebody finally asked.

Re: ISO: tdc.org
I don’t have an account for TDCZ but I like to pop over there once a day or so to check it out. Still down

Re: ISO: tdc.org
I've contacted a couple mods, who know nothing of what's happened. I mean, hardly any admins/mods are around there anymore, so who knows when/if TDC will be back. Hopefully, at least in time for the end of off season.
Since the Politics thread was locked, even fewer people show up these days. :\ Still, been posting there regularly for well over a decade... |
Re: ISO: tdc.org
Hopefully it comes back.

I hope so, too. I was able to post late last week briefly, so I'm assuming it's a technical issue and not monetary? |

People get restless, and obviously have much bigger lives offline. Few are willing to stick it out. Or able. Makes sense though. Gotta be tonnes of people around here who are gone for whatever particular reason. But aside from amidreaming, I never felt I quite fit in with any other board. Maybe it's their smaller size? Nancies, the Bridge, ufck and here were always huge compared with ami and TDC. To lose TDC this way would be sadly abrupt. |
Re: ISO: tdc.org
Oh yeah I completely agree. I definitely have my lulls in excitement for the band, but the fire always seems to come back some how. Thankfully.
Yeah Ants and TDC are about the only I ever got involved with. That and Weekly Davespeak. Remember that one? That’s where I originally met Brandon and Mitch. Oh and Don’t Burn the Pig for a little while. I never went on amidreaming? Is that one still around? Oh yeah I’m definitely hoping TDC comes back soon. |
Re: ISO: tdc.org
No. Amidreaming shut down in late 2010. Nancies years ago, too.
I vaguely recall weeklydavespeak. Dbtp is still up, at least the main page. Reddit has a thriving community. Every few weeks it seems I upload another link for the Batson sessions lol. |

Oh gotcha. Yeah I got into the band in 1998 but never started on any forums until 2009 so I missed some of those earlier sites. |
Re: ISO: tdc.org
Hope TDC can get back soon.
I speak with Mitch here and there. He's a good dude. Also good seeing a few TDC folks pop up here - Gweeps! |

Mitch is a great guy. |
Re: ISO: tdc.org
I feel like I've had a pending registration there for about 5-6 years (I can log in but not post). There are a lot of familiar names from the old DMBML days on there as well. If anyone has any insight on how to get that approved if the site is up and running again, please PM me. :thumbsup

Re: ISO: tdc.org
Do they have a "new album" thread where everything from WWF to Harry Styles, to new albums and old albums by musicians we've never heard of is discussed? Because I can't make room for it if not.

I knew this thread would be here!
|
Re: ISO: tdc.org
Can we lock this thread to the rest of Ants so that only TDC users can post here?
(I kid...) |
Re: ISO: tdc.org
Is Smittay banned on Ants? Spence? Tamby?
