Best non-1998 year for The Last Stop
 

I left out 1998 because it would probably win the poll, so what year other than 1998 do you think Last Stop sounded best?

Voted 1999. Easily though, 2006 is the weakest year. But hey, its still Last Stop.

I'm weird, I actually liked the 2006 Last Stops the most outside of 1998/1999.

08.08.03 is my single favorite performance of The Last Stop - the timing is impeccable, the performance totally nailed, unrivaled in impact.

Shame the CP bonus track is so heavily mastered, would love to see those tracks reissued and remastered on a deluxe Blu-ray special edition of The Concert in Central Park.

Winter 1998 versions are pretty good, but summer 1998 wasn't great because Boyd was out of tune often.

I actually really like 2010. After lic and lt 1, wrigley is my favorite version.........crazy, I know, but 2010 is my pick

There were some Boyd "SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" versions in 2003, but there were also some of the best performances of the song ever. The CP Bonus disc is my single favorite DMB performance ever, so I'm going with 2003.

CP bonus is great if you don't listen to the tape. Boyd is terribly out of tune on the recording.

I guess I just go back to the 2010 CVille version which I think is stellar and the best one DMB 3.0 has done.

It did a bit. I was there. It was wild, but going back and listening without the transition to LIOG it still feels a little flat. I think they all did last year. They werent bad, just lacked some oomph, if you will.

Deer Creek 2016 is probably the cleanest version they've played since 2003. Maybe Dallas 2010 comes close.
