That was a soft call. It was a pretty solid defensive play from Daley. Barely made contact with Marcus at all.

Game 4 will certainly be interesting. The Caps just got back in it but the Pens showed they can and will come back if you give them enough chances. And quite frankly they earned those chances at the end of regulation. But the Caps didn't let that tough finish sink them tonight so that should give them a lot of confidence going into Wednesday.

Yeesh the more I watch that Daley call at the end, I just don't know about that. Daley didn't wrap him, kept his arms out of his mid section, stick was down, got inside position but never pushed excessively, honestly can't ask him to recover much better than that. Like I said I'll take it, but man. That's tough.

I've never seen the Caps control the puck so much and then just take shitty shots that are easy to block. That needs to be fixed...

Really? I've seen that a lot from them in the past. It's always been an issue.

I will say I'm glad the Caps are getting traffic in front of the goal with regularity. But yeah the shots wide and easy blocks are really getting old.

I don't think it was intentional personally. Guys cross check each other around the net all the time. Sid was just in a bad position. No way that is anticipated.

I don't agree. A win's a win no matter who's out there. The Caps showed good resilience to not let the end of regulation sink them. Tonight had to be a win or it was hopeless. They got it done. I don't think Sid getting hurt negates the value of that.

Cullen hook was missed, but a lot of hooking calls go missed or swallowed during the playoffs

Refs were awful and inconsistent on both sides, but both teams got 5 PP's
