Both teams have to survive 3 tough playoff opponents to even match up in a potential final. I would not bet against either team making the finals nor would I bet on who would win a 7 game final between them.

Yeesh, bro

Just fyi for the thread, I love the President's Trophy and all the banners and jokes that come with it. We already lead the NHL in banners this year with three (Metro, Eastern regular, President's), that's already more than anyone else is gonna get, so once again we win the hockey season

What's crazy is that before you started frequenting the thread, I think many of us legit LOATHED the Capitals. We weren't kidding when we'd bash on them. Then you come in with, like, your good-natured attitude and overall coolness, and now it's like the Capitals are just the collective little brother of the NHL Thread. We rib, but lightly. So, good on ya.

I am still conflicted with my feelings towards the Caps. They suck, don't get me wrong, but Barbs is pretty cool. I just don't think his coolness is enough to contend with Brohan + Caps
