It's horrendously, stupidly, utterly, ridiculous.

Good. I hope he plays and commits a horrible turnover that leads to a goal because he hasn't played in two months. :lol

Lots of people pissed about the watch party being canceled tonight. I had even considered heading down there tonight. Channelside will still be a madhouse with Bolts fans, because literally every establishment with a TV will be carrying this game.

On an unrelated note, the Penguins taking the ice to Seek & Destroy reduces my intense hatred of them by a slight slight margin. I mean, fuck them, but I like the use of Metallica.

Stamkos doesn't look rusty at all - if he scores a game winner or something it will be the NHL equivalent of Kick Gibson's walk off during the world series. Great first period. Pens caught a huge break towards the end of the period when Johnson got that puck on Murray's left with 3 feet of open net, 99 out of 100 times he buries that one. Looks like it is going to be a great game and the refs are letting a lot go thus far.

Random thought, you could build a really solid team with guys from both teams that have a last name starting with a K or a C - Kucherov, Crosby, Kessel, Killorn, Kuhnhackl, Kunitz, Callahan, Condra, Carle, Koekkoek, etc, etc.

Yeah I thought he looked pretty good. I'd love to see him get on the score sheet tonight. Pretty solid and even first period, both teams had a few chances, defense still playing a little looser than I'd prefer.

God fuck these double posts. Idk what is wrong with taptalk any time I post. Don't understand why neither defender even attempted to cut of Rust, think Vasy should've gotten a glove on it honestly.

I think even if he doesn't get on the score sheet, his presence will take pressure off other Lightning stars, hopefully giving them some breathing room.

Are you referring to Drouin's blatant hold of Kunhackl's stick or Hedman's blatant slash?

Yeah, they are and TB is getting squat - also annoying announcing because they are clearly favoring Pittsburgh.

As for the game, son of a bitch. Drouin ties it up and 30 seconds later a fucking B list rookie Rust gets his second to get the lead back.

Horseshit they are getting squat. They got that interference call on Geno in the first. While it was definitely interference, it was soft by the standards of this series. They then failed to call a much more clear interference on Tampa that prevented an odd man rush for the Pens. Officiating is not deciding this game.

And Rust is having a great playoffs.

That was a BS call on Drouin, he barely touched that stick (with the outside of his glove no less) at full speed and he certainly did not hold on to it. The Hedman slash was clearly a penalty but still the refs seem to let more go for Pittsburgh than Tampa Bay.

Eh, they called Geno on that soft interference call early on. It was definitely interference, but a soft call by the standards of officiating this series. And then they missed a more clear interference by Tampa that prevented an odd man rush for the Pens. If the officiating is bad, it's been equally bad.

And Rust is having a great playoffs.

Damn this buggy site!!
