Kudos to the grounds crews. I feel like they really pick it up during playoff time. The fields just look gorgeous.

Ummmm, yes. (As of the time of that post)

Preds won today. But if they lose the remaining games (in regulation) and Kings win the following 5 games then both teams would have 91 pts.

Kings win tie breaker. :)

At the time of the post, before the Preds played today they could win one of the following 5 games.

So, again, my post was accurate at the time.

Now the Preds would have to lose all 4 games for the Kings to have a chance.

There should be a mercy rule in woman's hockey...a lot of hungry men, they need to get back in the kitchen if the game is out of hand

Terrifying situation in Philadelphia. Michael Neuvirth passed out on the ice with no contact. Just collapsed. He looked so out of it and was stretchered off the ice.

To make the situation weirder, Steve Mason wasn't available because of illness and they had to call up Anthony Stolarz. Stolarz didn't show up until after puck drop and is in the game now with no warm up.

Just saw some footage on twitter. Hope he's okay.

Apparently he's been sick along with Mason. I figured. He was probably dehydrated. He looked so out of it and exhausted.

Props to Stolarz for coming in and putting up a donut. Hope Neuvrith is ok

Preds remaining games are

NYI (Should be close)
STL (Again, should be close)
DAL (If I was a betting person I'd lay money on the Preds)
WIN (Decent team but I would not bet on this game)

Mathematically the Kings do have a chance but in reality all they have to do is beat Dallas and their garbage defense, injured forewords and atrocious goalie tandem! :lol

Like seeing that little Z next to Chicago in the standings, always a good day when you can finsih with the best record in your conference! :multi

Yikes that's really scary looking. I remember when the Pavelec incident happened several years ago. Very similar. What's really weird is Neuvirth was the goalie for the Caps that night. Hopefully Michael's okay. Always had a soft spot for Neuvy.

Re: The NHL Thread (where home field advantage matters!)

Would've been great if Neuvy would've just jumped up all of a sudden and been like "APRIL FOOLS!!!"

On the heels of the Neuvirth incident I just spent way too much time on youtube watching strange/scary hockey incidents. Ondrej Pavelec. Rich Peverley. Jiri Fischer. Travis Roy. Steve Moore. Daymond Langkow. Richard Zednik. Clint Malarchuk. Yikes.

Time to pull out of this.

Big win for the Bruins today. Now let's see if the Rangers can win a home game. I am honestly not sure the Rangers will win at home again this year....

You can thank Oduya for missing a wide open net that would have tied the game and given the Hawks some momentum. In fairness though, Boston had a lot more to play for than Chicago since they have already won the west.

What annoys me is that there was no postgame whatsoever like every SPORT, they went right to that damn golf tournament.

Caps need 3 points in last 4 games to clinch the #1 seed and more importantly avoid the mess that Pittsburgh Columbus round 1 will be
