Duclair asked for a trade recently, and the Coyotes pretty much soured on him because apparently he has all the tools, but lacks the work ethic.

Going to be interesting for him in Chicago with Q--that's for sure.

Some snubs for the all star game IMO, not that I believe the players care much (who would not want a few days to relax) but I think Kessel, Tarasenko and Marchessault should have gotten the nod. Also I know everyone loves the guy but how on earth is Fleury on that roster, guy has been banged up all year and played in only 12 games due to injury. Ditto with Karlsson - yeah, he is some sort of superhuman D man but his numbers this year do not warrant his being an All Star. Seguin vs Benn is a toss up for me, I think both are deserving.

Meh, it's all just a popularity contest. Talent/stats play such a little role in how those teams are formed.

My favorite part of the article was where a team representative stated that the organization is "not aware of a single complaint from anyone attending our games that they were expecting to see the parachute team and not a professional hockey game." :lol

Yeah, I am aware of how it is structured it is just frustrating. I would rather watch a game with the guys having the best seasons go at it, even if certain team are not represented than watch guys who are past their prime or simply just loved by fans despite having sub-par years. Honestly though the actual games are anti-climatic for me, I actually enjoy the skills competition more anyhow.

Hope you all are well! Nothing like a tour and new album announcement to bring me back to Ants. :lol

It’s been a frustrating year to follow the Pennns, but then I just cry into my 2016 and 2017 Stanley Cup t-shirts and feel better!:lol

I’m meh on All Star Games in general. I like that the NHL toys with the format to try to spice it up, but not necessarily at the expense of the proper players getting selected.

Pretty dirty. Sounds like Schultz is ok though which is good. Was properly enforced by the refs for a change. He should probably get a game suspension.

That said, Brown has always played on the edge. He just needs to find the line and do a better job of walking it.
