Every so often I'll feed my mom a complete line of bullshit, like, an entirely fabricated story I pass off as fact. I do this because she values my knowledge so much that she'll spam the shit out of Facebook with it, tell all her friends and coworkers, etc.

Told her a couple weeks ago not to tickle Van because if you tickle an infant before the 3ish month mark, it won't develop the proper nerve reflexes to be capable of being tickled later in life. this will also affect the pleasure center of the brain and could lead to a diminished ability to produce dopamine.

She spread that garbage like wildfire for damn near a month and it all just came crashing down on her when the mother (a pediatrician) of one of her students called her out on it. Would not be shocked if she was forced to take early retirement.

I tried to get Yada into Star Wars a couple weeks ago. She was pretty open minded about it until the yellow words started scrolling up from the bottom. She was having absolutely none of that shit.
