We're effectively making Toews and Kane worthless out there babysitting two separate lines. Neither the Toews or Kane line has been effective yet this series. The only time they have been is when they've been on the ice together due to shift changes (i.e. Toews's outlet pass to Kane for the breakaway). Hossa and Sharp also are being dragged down by a center that can't keep up with playoff hockey anymore.

It's time to switch it up. This is going to be a QUICK series if we don't let our stars be stars.

Versteeg is forever going to be one of the most frustrating players in the NHL. He shows flashes of brilliance, yet sometimes is just a fucking moron. Dumb penalties, turnovers, etc.

The blender went into full effect there for the second half of the 2nd period.

Smith was centering Hossa/Sharp. Kane was double shifting between three different lines (such as Bollig and Kruger, then being with Toews and Bickell). Saad even was centering a line there for one shift.

I don't know when Handzus's last 5-on-5 shift was.
