So sad about Stamkos. Everything sounded so promising this week and to say it's not a big loss would be a lie. Here's hoping for St. Louis to take his place - supposed to be announced in 48hrs or less.

man, last night was the first time this year watching the sabres play...jesus are they awful

Yeah, it's like NOTICEABLY bad. The big thing is just lack of confidence, which has led to apathy. If they were actually working hard out there it would be different, but every skater just half asses it, and it's more than noticeable. Hopefully Miller can get out. Aside from (obviously) the Avs, I can't think of a single player in the NHL who I'd like to see get a Cup more than him.

seriously, buffalo jumped out to a 1-0 lead on the pens last night too, they were controlling play for the first 15 mins and then the crosby line pumps in a goal and you could just FEEL the energy get sucked out of the team...flood gates opened and it was all over, and you're right, they don't look like a confident bunch at all

would love to see ryan miller win a cup, especially after coming SO close to a gold medal in 2010
