Re: The NHL Thread (where the Presidents Trophy matters!)

God. Watching the Rangers play a first period is awful. I should just start tuning in for the second period.

Re: The NHL Thread (where the Presidents Trophy matters!)

Summary. Hank had to make 21 saves on 21 shots in the first period. #Rangersplayoffsformula

:haha you missed me, didn't you.

My 11 year old breathes for the NFL so I've got the draft on.

LOL I tried to lobby to have hockey on but the draft won the newsroom. Laaaaaaame.

(Don't get me wrong, I give a huge shit about the draft too, but hockey!)

Can't keep going to the box. That was bound to happen. Hank has been amazing tonight...Rangers will probably lose the game for him though.

Re: The NHL Thread (where the Presidents Trophy matters!)

Don't know how that went in. Rangers were slightly better in the 3rd so far, but overall they have played stupid hockey all game. Pretty flat performance from most of the team and it is going to cost them this game. Hank really deserves better.

Re: The NHL Thread (where the Presidents Trophy matters!)

Terrible goal. Ugh

I know people are saying the Sid v. Ovi narrative is tired, but they are getting it done tonight. Good game so far!

Re: The NHL Thread (where the Presidents Trophy matters!)

The worst part is that Ottawa sucks....which does not say a lot about the Rangers.

Sens in 5 if the Rangers play like that again.

Literally disgusted with how the Rangers played that game. They are way better than that.

Kuzy!! Just jumped into this game at the start of the 3rd, seems it's been a good one. Nice goal there.

Whenever the Caps hockey is on my GF stays in the other room. I'm pretty sure she's scared for life when we first moved in during the 2015 Rags series. And she leaves me alone when the Caps lose :lol

Open the question up to everyone else, how does everyone else deal with watching playoff hockey?

:lol no I don't have my own room. My daughter is two so she's in bed by 8 and she can very much recognize what hockey is now and will absolutely sit and watch it with me. I've also learned to turn down the outwardly negative emotion stuff as I've gotten older. Sure I bitch about it hard in here but that's different. I'm way past the slamming the remote and screaming outloud days.

Yeah super tough for Hank. I didn't see the game at all but that's a tough finish. Sorry to you and Greg

There it is

Full domination all period and yet here we are. They get one break.

Followed up by a terrible penalty and the momentum is squashed

Keep on the grind. The puck will fall in to place. We'll get the break if we work

The whistle had been swallowed harder than a porn star for the Penns. They've gotten away with a lot
