Well, maybe dinosaurs have more in common with present-day birds than they do with reptiles. Look at the pubic bone: turned backward, just like a bird. Look at the vertebrae: full of airsacs and hollows, just like a bird. And even the word 'raptor' means "bird of prey."

Does anyone know why the thrashers logo was some kind of bird? Is thrashing something birds do? I think that was an attack for one of the bird pokemon :lol

figured you couldn't see through the fog. that's what i get for expecting reason and logic from Flyers fans.

and conveniently left out the praise i gave to Voracek and Simmonds

I admit to not paying to much attention to this thread, but when did the NHL start playing on a field? I thought it was called Home Ice.

Letang was just as important as Sid during last year's run. He damn-near single-handily beat San Jose in game 6 last year. He gives you 30 min a game of goal line to goal line play.

I mean it's not like they don't have a player that's severely outplaying what his ceiling really is in Justin Schultz. (for league minimum)

Healthy Matta and Daley and the Penguins are fine

as long as they have home field advantage they should get by CBJ in 6 or 7 games. But CBJ will certainly bruise them up badly, that team is v dirty

Neither of those guys have played up to their ability this year though. And Daley having another lower body injury, you dont know how much it will be nagging him when he does come back.

no they aren't fine

and the only time Schultz was producing was when he was getting 2nd pair minutes (i.e. when Letang was healthy)

his production has plummeted since getting top pair minutes

Dude won't be in the league past 2018-2019, he's getting old and the production isn't there. That contract is rough and Kings have to eat it through 2021. Unless they can dump it on a team that needs to reach the cap floor.

Kopitar was and has been the leader on the ice.
