As per usual, I have to get up at 4. Awesome how they keep scheduling the games the days before 5am shifts for me.

No matter the outcome, I'll need some calm down time :lol

Dammit Pens, if you could score a PP goal I might be going to bed right now! :lol I'm getting too old for this shite!

Nah, he's not. As much as I hate him, he's probably the most roughed up player in the league. He had a knack for embellishing his rookie year that fans haven't forgotten about, but there's no denying he gets his fair amount of gluten for punishment.

That's ok. The years this is taking off my life are the crappy ones at the end.

He just has such a flair for the dramatic. What with the throwing the stick around like a baby and the embellishment at the end there. He just sucks.

Highest points per game since the 2005 lockout. I'll take it!

Now's a good time to mention Penns have lost 9 or so of their last playoff OT games

Leads the league in tampon usage, as well.

If that's what he needs to score points, I don't care.

Re: The NHL Thread

I'll take some puck luck! Yes! The Caps really are playing very well. Murray's just a beast. It's like when the Pens played Halak in 2010, though that probably stirs some bad memories for you guys. :lol

Well maybe you guys just need to go down 3-1 to win a series. But the Pens haven't lost back to back games since January. Winning 3 in a row will be a tall order.

Man, puck went right to him. Crosby couldn't set him up better. Too bad. Was rooting for the Caps tonight.

WOOO!

Murray was outstanding again tonight.

Never thought we would have a 3-1 lead on the caps.

Crazy thing was Holtby was in great position to make the glove save. Holtby has been very good all series and not getting the credit

Without a doubt. He's been great. Not one of these games has been even close to his fault

In game 2 Holtby has put on a goddamned clinic. He's been very good. But not invincible. And he could use more support:

Re: The NHL Thread

Caps have proven to be the better team the last 7 periods, aside from the first 8 minutes of period 2 today. Just aren't getting any bounces while the other team has got them all. Take it one game at a time.

Re: The NHL Thread

This series could honestly have been 3-1 either way.

Re: The NHL Thread

Still unimpressed by the Caps offense. Ovechkin is a more complete player than ever before by playing a 200 foot game, but honestly, they need the old Ovi back for the next three games. Just fire at will.

Re: The NHL Thread

Fuck. 72 fucking missed his so bad and Holtby was in such good position for that shot too

And yes I know who 72 is I don't feel like spelling his name out
