And of course, instead of watching something of substance on Netflix, I pick D2.

Oh come on, you know exactly if there is a time and place to get drunk, it will be you sitting on the couch watching one of the Mighty Ducks.

To be honest, I would really like someone to spoof drunk history with a drunken commentary of the Mighty Ducks.

The Ducks movies were great back in the day, never saw 3, but yeah when you actually become a fan of the sport and watch it.....yeah. The end of #1, anyone on the ice can take the penalty shot? So Bickell gets hauled down on a breakaway and oh hey Patrick Kane is on the ice too so guess we'll let him take it...NO! It was Conway's shot no matter what...come on.

Re: The NHL Thread

Orion abandons several Duck traditions and strips Charlie Conway (Joshua Jackson) of his Captain's 'C', stating that the tricks and tactics the team used in the Pee Wee league won't work at this level. He is proven right when, in their first game of the season, the Ducks take an embarrassing tie after losing a 9 goal lead. Orion is livid, but makes a valid point (about hockey and life) when he states that the Ducks won't be able to dominate every game and have to learn how to play "two-way hockey," not choking when the game isn't going their way.

Man, Ted Orion is a real asshole.

Here is something for y'all. My wife works in the film department at Michigan and the writer for D3 works there.

Goldberg was such a horrible goalie. Caught out of position so much. He grew up to be MAF.

Also, draw up a better game plan. That forecheck is pathetic. Russ had time to skate up with the puck, take off his mask, get a new stick, and fire a knuckle puck. PUT SOME PRESSURE ON THE PUCK!

Great points. :thumbsup 30 second timeout my ass.

Ted Orion is prep hockey's Mike Babcock.

Right?! Every goal they score, Goldberg is clear off to the right and gets caught diving across a wide-open goal mouth.

Conway, however... now there's the bright spot to a team. Always working hard, always leading by example. Mark Messier leadership candidate right there.
