Wow, we got shows back to back years?! I am a little shocked but I'll take it! Hopefully tickets aren't as tough to come by this year compared to last year. See you all at Fiddlers!

I am shocked too. Didn't see this coming. Agree on tickets being hard to find on these shows in the past, hopefully easier with back to back years. I was fully prepared for a year off. Now need to come up with $500+ dollars for tickets and misc. crap.

I'm so excited for this. Shocking, given the last decade's pattern. Let's not screw it up this time with a lousy crowd.

I agree. Really did not see it coming. Can't believe I am saying this but actually debating going to just one night or at all. Last year was fun but I think I am slowly getting over the concert scene. Plus when I drop $700 for two nights for the wife and I to go, that's a nice long weekend in Breckenridge or Glenwood Springs. I must be going crazy.

no worries. I live in SLC so I'm acutely aware of the bands presence here haha

never thought that they'd be back for back-to-back years after the pattern they've been moving to for Denver. I really hope that the hype is as good as it was for last year. I know N2 sold out super fast last year, and I think eventually that N1 sold out as well.

lets hope its something similar and the band is pumped about being there

Thinking about making the trek out for some Colorado DMB this year. I've been in the Denver and Colorado Springs area late summer time and it can be beautiful.

I've always heard this venue isn't in the best area for a concert experience? No tailgating? Somebody convince me it's worth the flight and a long weekend in Denver

Thinking about coming to CO this year.

What is the venue like?

I know tickets were hard to come by last year.

I have a friend that lives about 10 mins from the venue so I think I’m going to do this...skipping alpine and DC... I hope it’s worth it! Never been to CO so I feel like it might be the right time!

For those asking about the venue: it's located in a commercial/business park area in Southwest Denver, so there's very little tailgate scene or pre-show bars/restaurants to hit up unfortunately. The venue itself is relatively nice inside as they've made some nice upgrades to the sound and aesthetics over the past few years. The Pit is tiny, the reserved sections have pretty good sight lines, and the lawn is also on the smaller side but has good sight lines and sound as well.

It's really a bummer the venue is in the area that it is, as instead of looking out at all our great mountain views you see office buildings. But Denver and surrounding areas are fantastic for many reasons and the light rail has a stop just across the street from the venue which is convenient.

Re: ***Official Colorado 2019 Thread***

To add to the venue, tailgating is hit or miss. Actually in the area you are not supposed to tailgate. Last year night one we were fine, night two we were kicked out of the lot and threatened to get tickets and move our car if we didn't stop. If you want to do something before the shows you are probably better off going to a restaurant nearby then take your chance in the lots.

Like said before the venue is in the middle of a business park and has a strict 11 curfew. People will crap on the venue, it's not as bad as people make it to be it is just not an ideal location. To me the views from the lawn are horrible from the top, thats just my opinion.

The last couple times they have played in denver tickets have been difficult to come by. Not impossible but harder than your typical ticket. Last years shows were sold out as was 2016.

I tailgated last year and had no problems. I parked, opened the trunk and had a few drinks with the people I parked by. It was a great time. I've seen rowdy people get talked to by lot security but as long as everyone keeps their cool then it shouldn't be a problem.

Nope. Some security is worse than others. Night two we had literally got out of the car, sat in a chair and cracked a beer. Just my wife and I. Security came through and cleared the whole lot. Everybody. Was told to pour out beer and walk to venue or move my car somewhere else. For the most part around the venue they dont want you tailgating. The corporate businesses probably get tired of people throwing beer cans, trash in the bushes. Its not about being rowdy.

I can vouch for this from other experiences as well. It seems I'm always "found" by the rent-a-cops in the business parks. BUT... I've since found it fun to go to the RTD side of I-25, find some street parking, and enjoy some beverages in that direction... no trouble yet. Please don't screw this up for me. :)

Ha. Interesting. After getting told to not drink last year at the lot, I drove over to a nearby park and had no issues there. Just lame I had to move to tailgate.

awesome surprise to see fiddlers back on the schedule again. about time they used their heads and re-scheduled the one venue they sell out at for the following year. considering lawn tickets were going for $150+ last year, i'm expecting this year to sell out again, although hopefully not as difficult to come by.

for anyone thinking about coming out for the shows. forget about tailgating for once. there is so much other stuff to do around here besides sit in a chair and drink beer. you can do that the other 363 days of the year. enjoy colorado while you're out here! there's some nice hikes within 20-60 minutes of the venue, along with downtown denver only 15 minutes away. ENJOY COLORADO!

Last year we stayed in the Wingate by Wyndham Greenwood Village/Denver Tech.

I recommend this as it is right by the venue, and easy to room drink/hang out in the hotel before the concert.

Venue was nice. They had a merch stand outside the venue, so people were able to go buy the poster and then walk back to hotel/car so they didn't have to hold it all night.

there is a curfew for 11PM sharp, so shows aren't able to go on long.

Decided on this trip over Texas two step this year. Didn't make sense to do Nashville and then Texas the next weekend in May. Denver sounds fun! haven't been back in the summer since Mile High 08
