A Series of Unfortunate Events (Netflix Series)

Just finished the first season. Definitely a weird/quirky show, but it was a fun watch. Has anyone else been watching this?

Only read the books, didnt see the trash movie.

The series; I thought was great. I found it to be strikingly similar to what I imagined while reading.

my roommates watch it and really like it. i've seen a few episodes but i can't really get into it. i hate characters that are exaggerated, especially towards the low IQ side like some of these characters are. i never read the books, so i can't comment on accuracy, but its just not my style of show to watch.
