Nah... there's just a bunch of renegade teams out there the NHL plays every once in a while... kind of like exhibition games.

Speaking of insignificant teams out West, the Kings are changing promoting their 3rd jerseys to be their primary sweaters:

Love the return to the white, silver, and black!

Just got back from the United Center where I painted the orange feather onto the Indian Head at center ice, met Denis Savard, Stalberg, Hjalmarsson, and Kruger, got to go in the locker room, and got some sweet pictures. Blackhawks.com is also probably putting a video of it on their website, so that's nice, and i'll try to post my pictues

If the Wings move East...no. That would be one less "Western Fan" in here.

Sorry Matty.

Jagr interview

http://www.broadstreethockey.com/201...ins-with-goals

In regards to him saying that he'd play for the penguins again for the league minimum a few years ago.

Quote:

Sure. What can I say? I think it’s a bit silly to make a connection between that statement and the current situation. It’s a bit out of context. It’s like before the wedding you’d tell your bride that you’ll never leave her. And then a month later something happens and you get a divorce.
Having a hard time remembering other things that were said prior to Jagr being signed, but there were numerous instances where interest was shown in signing with Pittsburgh. I really didn't care a whole lot whether or not he signed, but how does he not understand why every penguins fan is pissed at him, aside from signing with they're rival?

This is great. Hockey fans know bad music when they hear it. A letter to Betteman pleading that Nickelback doesn't participate in the opening ceremonies for the Jets.

I clearly counted wrong. We had 14. Now we have 15. Someone else sign up with their invite so we are even.

Are you kidding me?!?! Let me guess, found in his home?

EDIT: Yep to my question, according to Twitter reports. Boogaard, Rypien, and Belak all within what? A couple months?

That's three this off season. Such a tragic and unfortunate coincidence. Too young for these guys.

The Toronto Sun is reporting now that Belak hung himself. Fuck, what a shitty way to go.

I don't have a lot of respect or compassion for people that commit suicide, I think its the cowards way out, but man do I feel bad for his family.

Hope I can do this, but condolences being sent out to Kev tonight, who lost his father. I think I can speak for the group in saying you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers, buddy.
