Looking like devils get to be dismantled by the kings, rather than the rangers

This Stanley Cup Final will be great with either team from the East in it. I think the Rags are done. They just seemed to hit a wall.

Really starting to love this Devils team, especially Parise, Devils-Kings final would be really fun to watch.

Fuck the Devils. Fuck NYR even harder. Go Kings.

Kings are the worst. Rangers better pull it out. I don't want to see Fatso win another one.

Them be fightin' words :) ... Ant, any official response from the NJD camp?

I feel your pain, buddy. Believe me. Just watch it for the hockey from here on out, it's surprisingly refreshing when you watch it just for the sake of the game without any homer glasses on.

Believe me, I'm getting used to it. :o

Bucci brought up a good point in his blogumn that I also thought about last night... I hope Alex Ovechkin is watching Ilya Kovalchuk right now. The dude isn't playing at nearly the level talent-wise that he was playing at five years ago, but his heart has grown leaps and bounds. Ilya Koval-grinch. The guy clearly wants to win, and that's refreshing to see. I wouldn't be surprised if he's injured.

As devastating as last night was, I'm supremely confident that if the rangers can duplicate that effort Friday, they will force a game 7.

I know for a fact Kovy had a groin pull in the Flyers series. Don't know if it healed.

Yeah, he's definitely not at 100%. But nice to see him playing as hard as he is.

I can't believe the parallel to the '94 playoffs with NJ. Games are played on the same days and the outcomes for each game have been the same, so far.

Are we going to get a Messier prediction before Game 6?

And he was on the ice in the final minute last night of a one goal game.

It's amazing what a change of scenery did to Kovalchuk. He has completely revamped his game, and is now one of the most reliable forwards on the Devils in all three zones. His hockey IQ is ridiculous.

Been that way all year. DeBoer loves him, he was being double-shifted on the fourth line on the GWG last night, it was his forecheck that set up that goal.

It's not that they don't have fans, it is that a lot of their fans only care when the team is on the verge of winning something. My friend who has season tickets says all the time that he hates when all the fans who have not been there all year show up to games in the final round and cause all the problems and have the biggest mouths.

The people that have been there all year have been pretty respectful through this series, but all the people who I didn't even know followed hockey are suddenly texting me shit, facebooking me shit and pretending they have waited "9 long years to get back to the finals." Fans like that drive me nuts.

I even had one person Facebook me "one more time beating the Rangers and the Cup is ours! Go Devs!" I mean really, this person didn't even know there was another round to play...

As far as tonight goes, big game. Think both teams are capable of winning it. Think the Devils need to win tonight to clinch because if the Rangers win game 6 I believe they would take game 7 too. Let's go Rangers!!

:thumbsup I know, just never gets any easier to handle haha. I feel good about tonight. No reason not to. I am not a player, it is up to them to get the job done, if they don't there is nothing I could have done as a fan. Hardest part of being a fan only.

At the end they were showing the crowd. I don't think I've seen a more sick crowd in my life. Kids were crying, hearts were broken... it was as if Batman was dead.
