Rangers coaching is complete shit. No reason they should not have gotten at least a point today. I have never hated a coach so much to start off.

Congrats Boston, did just enough to win the game. Totally dominated the third period, and the rangers have a coach that is apparently too stupid to see that his team needed to regroup.

We were both wrong about the outcome.

Wings have outscored their opponents 14-2 in the last 3 games. Not bad.

After seeing the scores from around the league I am even more pissed about the Rangers game. Could go from second to seventh in the division in two days if they lose the next game.

Haha...kinda figured, just bustin chops. That's a good gig you have. I'm sure the press box are great seats to have in any sports.

Jackets looked great tonight. Not sure how they alternate looking awesome and awful so consistently. Fully expecting them to lose by 6 or 7 tomorrow @ Boston

Perfect illustration of why shootouts are dumb/completely retarded...

Was going to come here to post almost exactly this.

That 3rd period was pathetic. The Rags couldn't even get out of their zone. They looked like they were lost just trying to move the puck. Guys standing around almost not knowing where to be, passes were lazy and constantly to the wrong area...it was really hard to watch.

I wouldn't say I'm a "fan" of the shootout, but it's a hell of a lot better than a tie.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, man I love being a tur...nope that's a movie quote. I'd rather leave a game with my team the same number of points behind rather than another point behind just cause they couldn't score on a couple of penalty shots.

Why is a tie so bad? I like ties.

Wells Fargo Center has the best view as I've been told by a few writers I know who have covered hockey in multiple venues. Flyers also have the best PR by far in the league. They accommodate media so much.

bonzo48280 11-30-2013 07:51 AM

I have no problem with ties if they played a longer OT than they do now.

HallowBillies7 11-30-2013 09:36 AM

Going to the B's game tonight, I read Horton is still out for the Blue Jackets? He's taking his whole disappearing act until the playoffs to a new level.

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

They knew he was going to be out til maybe January when they signed him. Tough to get on the guy when he gave 100% in the playoffs when his shoulder was fucked and he was a free agent to be.

HallowBillies7 11-30-2013 11:55 AM

Yeah I was just joking. I love what he did here but he was still so frustrating to watch sometimes. I was hoping he'd be traveling and they'd give him a standing O.

4-on-4 for 10 minutes followed by a tie would be fine. But you would have to go back to the 3-2-1-0 point system IMO.

Rangers are so confusing this season....I'll take a 5-2 win! But man, talk about inconsistent haha

Do you see a lot of penises while in the locker rooms?

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

Ben Smith and Jordie Benn performed in a shootout to determine a winner. That's dumb.

Lol no the athletes are dressed at all times. This is the area where their equipment is. They have a separate room reporters can't go into where they shower and have their change of clothes, personal items, etc.

It would be swell if the Hawks could go off and get like 12 goals tonight.
