This!

Love him. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Sorry, but no one is going to go after anyone on the Bruins so as long as Chara is on the team.

What a shitshow of a Flyers/Lightning game

These Leaf jerseys are among the worst ever for outdoor games. The Caps are among the best.

Leafs might actually be among the worst of all-time, period.

The Leafs uniform as a whole is awful. Sweaters alone aren’t too bad. Caps are very nice.

Epic 3rd period collapse by the Kings today. I’m happy I left the game in the 3rd when they were still in the lead (3-1) because I wasn’t feeling well.

Doughty needs to start checking his emotions.

Didn't know there was a Stadium Series game last night.

I imagine that had to be a tough loss to swallow, I mean no offense - trust me been there many times this season where the Hawks lost a game they should have won. I would not worry that much just yet, I assume they will address Doughty's emotions before their next game Thursday. Irony is that you will probably have to hope the Hawks beat the Ducks this afternoon so the Kings do not get knocked out of the playoff picture.

Yeah, they were sweet. Watched the game earlier today (watched both the Hawks and the Pens games yesterday so I end up watching Gilligan's Island until I crashed) and it was a great game, loved the outcome too, nice to see Ovie get his 40th of the season and 598th of his career. Gotta love good games, especially when the team you are cheering for wins. :)

They would still be in a wild card spot if the Ducks won. The wild card is such a tight race right now. Even the Kings winning three in a row prior to yesterday’s game didn’t do much of anything to put them ahead. They are off until Thursday, which is tough this time of year. They might have to be fighting back into a playoff spot when they play again, depending on how the other teams play this week.

Then two tough home games against the Caps then the Blues. Kings have been so bipolar this year, suppose to be expected with new coaching staff. I’m definitely not complaining though. Good to finally have Carter back and he’s been stellar so that gives me a bit more hope.

:lol

You are preaching to the choir, Q has looked lost this year, his decisions often defy reality. This is just a very irritating season for all Hawks fans once Crawford went down in December (he covered up a lot of defensive mistakes) now the Hawks have a 'starter' in Forsberg who has no business in the NHL because he is awful. Add in that the Hawks D was gutted during the offseason (trading Hammer, losing TVR to expansion, letting Oduya walk without trying to retain him and having Campbell retire) so they essentially have two solid D men in there - Seabrook and Keith. Yeah, Rutta, Oesterle and Murphy have shown they can play at times it is just not consistent enough to win especially with their goalie situation.

On the plus side Philly looked just as pitiful today against Florida.

Guess I shall be cheering for the Avs to make the final from the west and either the Caps or Pens to win the east and the cup - if Chicago cannot win the cup I sure as hell do not want a team from their conference winning it! :)

Me either. They do so many outdoor games now that they've lost all their luster for me. I mean, a hockey game is a hockey game so I'll still watch, but there's no additional draw to watch it for me.

They were terrible. Whose idea was it to make players wear all white sweaters/equipment... on a white sheet of ice... under stadium lights...???

Nice to see the Golden Knights stop playing like shit and losing to such disreputable swine.

Re: The NHL Thread (Golden Knights are alright)

MacKinnon's back... holy cow that guy is a beast. Teams just can't find an answer for his combination of size and speed. Even if he's not scoring goals (and he is), it's the subtle things he does to open up space for his teammates. I mean, check this out:

https://www.nhl.com/video/barries-de...268/c-58372603

MacKinnon dishes to Rantanen and then pushes the two d-men all the way back to the net, Rants (who's having a helluva season himself) draws another guy, leaving Barrie wide open in the slot to bury (see what I did there) it . It's so frustrating for a d-man because you really can't blame them; when a guy that size and with that much speed is bearing down on you, there's really not much more you can do. One of the many things that makes him so great.

Literally had no idea there was an outdoor game saturday til I saw posts about it on twitter sunday afternoon. NHL doesnt even care about advertising these things anymore.

Rangers are randomly 3-0 since the fire sale. Their first 3 game winning streak since early December. Wonder if these kids have a chance of sneaking in. Probably not, but what a story that would be! Real test is this week against better playoff bound teams.

Both Charlie McAvoy and Brock Boeser out a minimum 4 weeks.

Tough break for the rookies, also tough break for my fantasy team right as we start playoffs....

Losing Bergeron and McAvoy for the toughest part of their schedule is going to be very tough. If they make it though alright, I think it's a blessing in disguise to have those guys get rest for the playoffs.
