I agree though. Only worth it if you need it to follow your team.

actually yea, that's not bad at all

i was just curious

the figure looks high but i guess when you think about it, it covers 7 months worth of games, which is a ton

Yeah if I moved away from here I'd be all about it, but doesn't seem worth it for me. Plenty of games on NBCSN and CBC (on the weekends) and then the local stuff to keep me interested.

I would also chime in that it's only worth it, especially if you still live in your own market, if your cable provider provides the games in HD. I don't know how it is now, but at least as few as a couple of years ago, Comcast didn't provide HD channels for the sports packages. Which is garbage.

I had it all three years I lived in Pittsburgh though when I was out of Flyers territory. Totally worth it.

non HD?

yikes

rickyh24 10-09-2014 04:09 PM

Comcast is awful. Had the baseball package through them one year and like 6 games a night were HD :lol

Switched to directtv immediately.

Re: The NHL Thread

Yep. Awful. Still can't believe that Comcast doesn't rectify that. They probably loses hundreds of customers for that sole reason. How hard is it to make some more space for some more HD channels with the 100s of channels already out there?
