Special shout out to the Jackets and Kings. Now Wings need to do their part.

:lol:lol indeed.

I'll be honest, it was nice to not jump in my freezing ass car this morning and head to the office. That is going to be a terrible place to be in about 2 hours. Poor people have no idea what they are walking into.

Wait, what's that? The Oilers still suck? Right, as you were.

The more and more we inch closer to this deadline, the more it seems like Kesler will get moved.

Crazy.

I'm less sure about that. With Sedin being out, I think Kesler will be a draft-day-deal. I do think he'll end up with the Blackhawks though.

I am off tomorrow so we better get some fireworks. lol I think Kesler does get moved by tomorrow, just to avoid the Lou stuff again. It's Vancouver, they have to know they'll screw it up, so just move him now.

I honestly believe that's a possibility too, but the most likely casualty at this point then would probably be Saad and/or Leddy. It'll be interesting to watch develop, but Kesler has already handed over a list of teams he'd waive his NTC to go to. Supposedly there are three West teams and three East teams. All I've seen are the Pens/Flyers/Rangers out East, no idea who he named in the West, but Kyper has stated that Vancouver is reluctant to move him in the West.

That shouldn't be a shock to anyone who remembers how the whole Luongo thing went down. He would have rather taken a lot less to move Corey Schneider to the East than anyone in the West...Gillis is a fucking weirdo, and who knows with him.

But with Teravainen playing so incredibly well in Finland, it might be easy for Bowman to say no thanks to Kesler and keep running with what he's got.

Also read Kesler doesn't want to go to a Canadian city.

Kesler won't waive NTC to go to Blue Jackets because Umberger is on the team. Him and Kelser doesn't get along very well--going all the way back to their days in Ohio State.

We all know he just wants to go to Chi-town so he and Kaner can wreck the place. And I don't mean on the ice.

Speaking of wreck, I don't watch Dancing With the Stars so I can't say with all certainty, but this may turn out to be the first time in its history that one of the pro dancers quits because of repeated come-ons by their partner.

That, or offers to design a purse for her.

How awesome would that be if they played an ACTUAL outdoor game instead of at a stadium? If they set up temporary bleachers or something in the mountains?

Sean Avery is on dancing with the stars.

Between him, Valeri Bure's wife, and Winnie from the Wonder Years--I just may have to watch.

They should just trade Umberger for Kesler then :lol

Our boy Sean Avery.

Actually, it may not be the girl dancers that have to worry...

the east doesn't look so bad anymore.

jackets would have the last wild card spot in the west with 2 games in hand.

edit: that's a lie, they'd be a point behind dallas but still.

Supposedly it's a done deal, he just wants one more home start before he approves it.

I saw some rumblings on Twitter about this, but hadn't heard anything from the big guys yet (LeBrun, Mckenzie, etc.). Still could very well be in the works/done deal. :thumbsup

Minnesota seems more and more like the place he would go. His kids apparently go to school there, and of course there's the Parise connection. Also more of a chance for him to play, which I think is a big factor for him.

His son does play goal in Minny. My exgirlfriend's brother played a couple games against him. I went hoping to see Marty...but didn't. :thumbsdow

Nothing they can do. It's all in his hands to approve or not. Obviously it's a risk, but the guy has put in to much time there, he deserves to have one last bow before moving on.
