Wouldn’t be a problem if you got him exclusively old school Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior wrestling buddies. ;)

Why are the Flyers always trash on the power play

Flyers intensity from Game 1 certainly is back. Just not playing well, especially on the PP

Re: The NHL Thread

Holy Crawford, even Fleury was shaking his head on the bench watching. Hawks still executing their game plan against Vegas as well as they could (which despite the results has been sound) and tonight it paid off. Day off will help the Hawks - Vegas too unfortunately. :lol

Just have to play the same game style to slow down the Knights on 5 v 5 and continue to be airtight on the PK - I think in this series to date more shorthanded goals than PP goals have been scored - pretty rare. Scoring would be a nice bonus though - big guns have to cash in some chances Tuesday and make this a series and get into Vegas's head. They upset Edmonton convincingly, why not Vegas? One game at a time.

Happy for Pavelski! Can we mail him hats? :lol

Fun hockey day.

Cheers all, stay safe and well! :)

Re: The NHL Thread

One I thing I really took notice of during last night's Flyers game is just how special of a player Ivan Provorov has already become at the blue line. He is one of the smoothest-skating defensemen I have seen in this league. Combined with his instincts, ability to lead and QB the power play, the Flyers really got something special when they picked him. Definitely one of Ron Hextall's finest moves in Philly.

On a side note, I have thoroughly enjoyed the physical battle between Shea Weber and Sean Couturier. Coots has really blossomed into a star two-way player. He is due that Selke Award.

Its Chairot that is giving him fits. He is all over Coots after every whistle.

Chiarot has been a total pain in the ass too. But I've seen Coots going after Weber frequently too. It's a huge step-up moment for Coots.

Looks like if Tampa wins they're either going to get Boston or Montreal next round.

Let's put CBJ to sleep in 5. This series has sucked to watch. Trap teams are killjoys.

I second this 100%

I still have nightmares about the 1990’s NJ Devils.

Flyers are 6-1 in the playoffs so far. In the one loss they gave up 5. In the other 6, they’ve given up 4 combined. Doesn’t mean anything if you don’t finish the Habs off.

Edit: But it’s so tasty so far.

Glad Tuuka said something to the contrary. I know I wouldn't want to be out there either, in any sport. Watching the premier and champions league has been lame.

Tuuka is still getting out there in at least one sport, had time for 18 holes today

Caps actually got a win! That ends a 5 game losing streak in the playoffs (I'm not counting the round robin as playoff games).
