Oh, and if anyone's gonna tweet Dater, make sure it is Avs related. He's a big-time homer (I mean, he's written about them for 20+ years so I get it) who doesn't seem to care too much about other teams and players who aren't the Avs or who don't play/haven't played for the Avs.

That was just dumb, while I do not think he was trying to hurt Brassard if you pull that in the neighborhood of a ref or linesman you're getting shown the box every time. Probably just frustration.

Hope so, here in CT people who have no clue about hockey have bought Devils and Bruins shirts - Devils ones will be tucked away soon and hopefully the Bruins take a dump tonight and the Leafs can even that series.

They were half an inch from tying that one last night too when Mac rang that blast off the bar with about a minute left too. Shame.

Edit, it was Wilson who drew iron, not Mac.

He drives me insane on the ice but has earned my respect for what he does off the ice and how he conducts himself.

Players grow up though. I admit I used to get frustrated when he would moan any time a call went against him and his dives would have made a soccer player proud but now he plays like the star he is and I respect him on and off the ice.

I'll definitely be studying up on this game I know nothing about. :lol

yeah that was a crazy ending last night. Wish they could've tied it up, but I still have a hard time being upset or frustrated. It's weird feeling, being completely content with my team losing in the playoffs. Some mistakes, but overall these young guys just look so damn good playing against a much more experienced team.

Ovie is known for his two handed baseball slashes just about as often as Sid and I would never view him in a lesser light as an all time great because of it.

Andrew Hammond is the new starting goalie for the Avs. Played pretty well in relief for the 3rd period last night, but still... 3rd string goalie is not ideal going into an elimination game.

On the other hand, thank goodness we picked him up in the Duchene trade!
