Flyers getting shutout by Bruins 2nd best goalie. What a trash team.

I’m glad you didn’t have to watch that. You probably would have thrown something with that goal being called back.

how that was goalie interference, I have no idea.

Garage league.

Ya that was garbage. Rask wouldn’t have made the save even if Simmons didn’t brush him with the elbow. It was a really well placed shot by Giroux.

Pretty good back to back games from Jarry. I know it is the sabres, but only one goal against for the youngster.

Wouldn't be surprised if some changes were made in Detroit this week. And then I also wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't any either. What a mess.

This sucks because him and Kane are the only guys with any consistency among their key guys. Their PK is great, the PP is decent but 5 on 5 they just do not seem to have the drive they have possessed in past years. Heck, Anisimov and DeBrincat have been almost carrying this team offensively for a moth now while the D - which is usually a big strength is being highlighted by Rutta and Forsling. They really need to get it in gear and losing Crow is not likely to help.

He looks composed and very confident. Always coming out above the crease. Nice to see.

How do you not fire a coach who has lost 11 straight?

I meant 10 games, but lets face it, it will probably be 11 at least

4 road games for the Kings, 4 wins. Put them back into a comfortable lead

They played a damn good game tonight and deserved that win. No stupid mistakes, great D and Quick was amazing. Think the Hawks were a little gassed by the last ten minutes when it was still 0-0 - this was their third game in 4 days and 2 of those went to OT with one ending in a shootout. Miss Crawford quite a bit - not that Forsberg played bad but that was a tough loss! Like I said, we will get you next time Sarah! Have a great night! :)

That was the most boring hockey game I've ever attended.

The Hawks PP has been really bad, but tonight it was EXCEPTIONALLY bad.

Hawks were swarming them through the first 2 periods, then I fell asleep. I wouldn't call what I saw from the Kings a great game.

I was at the 5-0 blanking against the Kings two years ago in Chicago. That was the one of the most boring games ever.

The most boring game ever was 0-0 Devils v Flyers though. That was unreal.

Semi-related note. I will be back in Chicago for work on Wednesday!

LA created come good chances too though, Forsberg played damn solid - guy only gave up the one goal (other 2 were empty netters) and kept Chicago in that game. Hawks just ran out of gas with about ten minutes left after playing so much so often - 3rd game in 4 days (2 to OT) - reminds me a bit of the Hawks opener when Pittsburg flew home from STL after an OT loss the night before - you could tell they were gassed and once the Hawks put 2 or 3 up on t he board they just fell apart due to fatigue - no way in hell the Hawks were 9 goals better than Pittsburg, Pens just got caught gassed and probably a little emotionally exhausted after the ceremony and cup banner raising prior to the game. It happens to every team, sucks but they have to cram so many games into short time periods for each team at a certain point.

Yeah, it was the worst game for the Kings on their road trip. You could tell it was the end of their trip. They squeaked outta Chicago.

They were sluggish to start but no more than the Hawks who are also in a period of a lot of games in a short stretch. The Kings passed pretty solidly, put a lot of pucks on net, worked the points and went for those scrum type rebound goals in front of the net. Gaborik is a huge netfront presence to screen a goalie. Yeah, they did squeak out a win but I think they played pretty darn solid hockey in the process. That said if Brown does not net that 150 foot empty netter the Hawks may have forced OT because they were buzzing in the Kings end a lot in the last two minutes.

Nice little article on probably the most underrated player in all of the NHL.

Would love to see this thread acknowledge a more underrated player
