Snubbed would mean one of the other three didn't deserve it, and I think all of them did. Berube is another one left off. Roy will win it because of the turn around.

Carey price calling the bruins lucky. I guess he didn't pay attention to the bruins 3 period the last couple years. Sounds rattled to me.

So many posts and missed opportunities. Price is the one who's lucky the Bs haven't canalized on the majority of their scoring chances. Bergeron's goal was lucky. Happens sometimes, but all that hard work pays off eventually

i would have much rather seen berube or richards than cooper

Berube was snubbed... am I doing this right?

All kidding aside, I was hoping he was a finalist. Roy should win. Which leads me to a question I posed on Twitter: Has anyone ever won the Jack Adams as well as a major award such as the Hart or Vezina? Roy could seriously be in a very elite group if (and when) he wins the Jack

You just trolling today or what?

First it's the Rangers' fault they've played 6 games in 9 nights and now Dan Bylsma is coach of the year.

Same guy who has the two best offensive players on the planet on his team.

:lol :lol

Lots of Pens jealously, now that we're the favorite for the Cup.

Stamkos missed a huge part of the year, easily a top 5 players in the league, Marty then decided to be a little baby and Bishop missed some time too. I wouldn't have objected to Richards, but also don't object to Cooper either. When Stamkos went down, I thought they were done.

either way, arena availability was a huge factor in this round of scheduling

Are you high right now? Game 4 would be in New York on Thursday.

The following dates would have worked at each arena:

Game 3: 5/6 - MSG
Game 4: 5/8 - MSG
Game 5: 5/11 - Consol
Game 6: 5/14 - MSG
Game 7: 5/16 - Consol

MSG was fully available such that there was no need for the Rangers to play 6 games in 9 days, and it is not remotely their "fault" that the schedule worked out the way it did.

the saturdays were the problem at consol

and 5/8 at MSG was not a possibility

rangers own venue helped in the bad scheduling

Also the schedules of the other buildings (other series) can come into play too. Also the NHL wouldn't put a schedule together that has game 7 on May 16th when they can have it done on May 13th, like it will be now if it goes 7. If it goes 7, May 16th could be the start of round 3.

Evidently. I honestly haven't been around as a hockey fan long enough to know much about him. Thoughts?

Philly fans will be able to tell you more but he's had success everywhere he's gone. On the Island, Carolina and Philly. Made the playoffs in back to back years with Isles. When was the last time they did that?

Yes, it was. Just because the NHL "doesn't like" to have offsite pregame skates doesn't mean it wasn't possible. It's definitely happened before.

Too bad they scheduled Kings-Ducks game 7 for May 16 then.

And Bruins-Habs for May 14.

And Wild-Hawks for May 15.

So if Habs and Bruins and Rangers and Pens both go 7, round 3 can still start on the 16th? ok.

right, but it was never going to happen, so it's not even worth discussing

and that's partially the rangers' fault, as once the knicks are done, they are MSG's main tennant

it's real simple, man, between MSG's awful scheduling and television broadcasting, this series got fucked up

Bruins think they have figured out Carey Price. Same way they figured out Corey Crawford allegedly last year. How did that work out.....A lot of chatter in the Boston/Montreal series.

Just Play the Game.

Will the NHL start the next round if a series from the previous round isn't finished? Because I'm pretty sure they won't...

Dougie said they figured out price. he's a rookie and it wasn't the smartest thing to say, but what price said was just dumb. laughable

Based on that game Saturday, I don't think they figured Carey Price out so much as the Habs' defense. Price didn't have a fucking chance on a couple of those goals, and he was facing a firing squad the last 10 minutes of that game.

Not saying you don't agree, just commenting because you mentioned what the Bruins think they figured out.
