Just signed up. I haven't paid attention to any of these political shows. Is it really free? Is it like a first-come first-served deal where they'll cut off RSVPs when it fills up?

It’s free. I believe they check to confirm your RSVP a little before the show. Haven’t gone to one, but I spoke to a few that did and was originally signed up for the Raleigh one but ended up not going. Never seen a Dave solo set so I’m pumped to say the least.

So I completed the RSVP form at the link for my wife and I. Got the text that said "See you @ 6 on 11/28..." and the email that said "You're signed up!" Is that all I need, other than to just show up on Monday?

Maybe I’m just ignorant to US politics, but why is he doing this show? Vote for what? Wasn’t the election a couple weeks ago?

Run off vote for the state senate seat, so basically a revote.

Edit to clarify - there was an 3rd party candidate in addition to the R and D, who took enough votes from the other two making it impossible for either to hit the 50% requirement. So now the other candidate is gone and ya do it all over again.

So essentially Warnock is trying to capture those "swing voters" that aren't quite sold on either candidate at this point.

I live 12 minutes from the Roxy but having a tough time deciding to go. Its like when you get that offer from Hilton to say in Orlando for 4 nights for $199, but you have to listen to a 4 hour sales pitch.

I think you receive a confirmation text today, and then just show up. Not sure past that. I do believe from the other similar shows that if you RSVP’ed you get in.

Just saw in the email where it's basically first come first served, so that RSVP don't mean shit.

A little discouraging to consider driving all the way across town at rush hour to maybe get in.

Same! Free, 50min drive to the smallest venue I will most likely ever see him at. For me personally, it’s a no-brainer but I don’t care about politics. Worst case scenario it’s a shit show and we can’t get in but arriving 30 before doors open and a couple hours before it’s start we should be fine. Doubt theirs gonna be a thousand people
