Sure is. Had a class project and as a part of it I made a video tutorial on how to string a raised B guitar haha. Itís a throwaway guitar but Iím so glad I have it because I couldnít play those songs without it!

I was always a fan of Stand Up, the song. But this new version with Buddy which I hear live for first time last night in Hartford has vaulted it into top 20 status. It is a beast.

Don't hear that too often round these parts

The song, not the album. I kind of groaned last night when Bayou closed. Hadn't heard it in a while so it wasn't the worst but would have rather heard Ants or Rapunzel. And honestly, part of it about Stand Up was when the song came out my son was young and at the stage where after you change his diaper or got him dressed, I would slide his pants on to like the knees and then stand him up and pull them up the rest of the way past his thunder thighs so I would sing "Stand up......Stand Up". It was a little thing that made him always smile. Good times. And my older liked the song , too.

Might not be news - but I was browsing in the DMB store last night and saw that the orbit sticker is back. Did it ever leave? My God, I had that on my laptop in high school in like, 1999

It just occurred to me that the only thing that has stayed consistent in DMB over the years...is the rhythm section. The literal and figurative beat goes on.

Yeah man, I'll continue to see Dave perform for as long as he keeps playing. Whether it be solo, with Tim Reynolds, or with a different lineup/"friends", etc.

But for the fact that he's still playing with Carter Beauford and Stefan Lessard as his rhythm section, I am truly grateful.

I'm pretty sure I'd think a lot more highly of Come Tomorrow if it didn't take almost six years to come out, and include two songs that are 12 years old (both poorly produced, at that).

This Seek Up from 2002 is incredible. Everyone is so much younger, especially Carter. His stuff at the end almost looks effortless. Something like that is difficult for him to do now.

Dave and Tim shows are so much better than full band these days.

Definitely. The crowd still brings the energy, and I think it's just easier on Dave's voice. When the band gets older and decides it's time to hang it up, Dave & Tim will still go on. And I'm totally okay with that.

I'm glad they will still go on because I couldn't fathom not ever seeing Dave perform again, but I definitely can't pretend that I enjoy Dave & Tim anywhere near as much as I do DMB. There is one thing imo that is better D&T, and that is Tim being on acoustic.

Roiís best overall work on a release may be LT30. So crisp and smooth.

Had a dream Boyd was standing outside the venues playing his violin along with the songs during shows.

I think it's always been in the store

You know what needs to comeback?

1. The grey dmb elephants shirt. Exactly as it used to be. Big elephants on the front with no dave Matthews band. I'll snag one on e bay some day.

2. The white butterfly dmb shirt

3. The stick figures shirt

4. Something with the dancing 8 on it

That'd be better than the actual show.

Just watched Ants Marching from N3 Gorge 2016.... Transcendent. Without Boyd they are okay, but not transcendent.

Did anyone notice that on Idea of You from this video Carter didn't do the "Clocks" drums? He did the Clocks drums in Chula Vista along with several other tour stops. Wonder if he did it that way just because it's the gorge lol

With Rooftop making 1 appearance this tour, it represents the only song from Away From the World that has been played on this tour. I think it confirms my belief that it's BY FAR their worst album.

So the official lyrics to She aren't "Take too long to taste the Ju-Ju's gone" the actual lyrics are "Take too long to taste the Jewel Jewel is gone".... I already thought Ju ju was a dumb lyric but this might be worse. (Love the song tho)

I for one think Zuul-Zuul would have been better than jewel jewel or ju ju. Because Ghostbusters. And because why not, we can't tell what he says anyways.
