did you watch any of the game Monday? I thought they played the pens pretty damn tough. they get a bounce or two in the first 10 minutes and that's a completely different game.

:lol I love that CBJ which has a total fanbase of 18 people is probably the 4th or 5th most discussed team in this thread.

I'm sure the rest of you are appreciative of that as well.

watched the whole thing

jackets are a big time matchup problem for the pens

they are like a less talented boston, which is fine for where they are

we also saw last year that they are capable of getting on a hot streak

#bobs

always been a big umberger fan too, from the burgh and i love the way he plays, brings it every night

It'll be interesting to see how the East works out. The last few weeks would have thought 5 from the Atlantic get in cause the Metro...damn. But the Leafs are spiraling right now and letting those Metro teams back in it. Jackets right now are closer to 3rd in their division than at a wild card spot. lol

:lol yeah Tim they are closer to 3rd but both them and Philly are just 4 points behind Toronto now with a game in hand and trending in a much different direction.

rickyh24 12-13-2013 12:56 PM

Also we need wait until the Stanley cup finals to see who certain people support.

Very much so. Toronto is going down fast.

Talking about teams, don't forget Erik and the Sharks, but haven't seen his face in a while.

man, the Pens new jerseys for the classic are terrible.

I don't understand why teams just don't go retro. For instance, the oilers home jerseys are clutch cause they're replicas of the 80's.

They look almost like Bruins sweaters.

I love the 80s and 90s retro jerseys. The Might Ducks ones were so choice.

Those pens jerseys are just modified versions of their normal ones.

Played in my first ever kinda-actual game tonight with full gear for a work thing. I'm a pretty bad skater but man was it fun. Pretty bad Canadian, starting playing hockey in my 30s

Awesome! What matters is that you started.

Just keep focusing on having fun. Don't get too caught up or be too hard on yourself in learning everything right now. Just have fun and stick with it and all those things will come. Also don't be afraid to try stuff - ie, some people never learn to stop because they never try. You'll learn quickly that it doesn't hurt to fall, especially when you're playing the greatest game in the world!

Rangers up coming schedule looks like it will probably be win one lose one for the next little stretch. Could get really ugly if we lose the Flames and Islanders though. Don't even give us a chance against the Pens right now.

Oh yeah it was completely for fun, had a mock bench clearing brawl at one point.
Honestly I probably will hardly ever play because I do a bunch of other stuff in the winter, but you never know

Great teams would be your Kings, Sharks, Ducks, Blues, Bruins, Red Wings (when healthy), and mayybe the Pens.

Good teams is a much larger group. They'll make noise in the playoffs, but in reality they aren't going to be doing anything crazy come June except golfing. Here is where I would put the Avs, Wild, Canucks, Stars, Canucks, Coyotes, Caps, Habs, Lightning, Maple Leafs.

Everyone else is shitty. Sorry.

The Leafs are pretty shitty. Also Montreal is probably bordering on great and the Wings are merely good if you ask me. Their window closed a couple years ago.

Think LaBarbera is just going to the Ice Hogs but maybe he'll get a start or 2 with the Hawks.
