No one would ever believe me if I described how the last 2 minutes of this game went. I'm sure you Flyer guys were watching. How do you recover from that. The ups and down of emotion.

I need a sedative.

Red Wings beat a shit team and barely did. The Canes took it to them for most of the last 25.

Ridiculous turn of events. Building must have been ready to riot after we tied it. My heart is still racing.

To go from this unbelievable comeback to maybe clinch the playoffs to losing like is just unfathomable. What a roller coaster of emotions.

There were loud and obnoxious islander fans there so it was fun. I called the win because there was exactly 28 secs left on the last face off. Though I was excited for free hockey

NY Rangers win the presidents trophy in NJ....I love it!!

Been exactly two weeks since I lost my grandma. Still in pain, but this provides a great distraction and helps!

Love being a Rangers fan these past two years!

Canes took it to the Hawks when they played a couple weeks ago too. Almost doubled their shot totals.

It's really not at all. Lots of guys throw his name in that hat when asked the question.

Now you all think I was crazy in my predictions weeks ago? Not the same team. Not deserving of the playoffs.

This is also ok for me. Just want my Wings in. Might only be 4-5 extra games but...whatever. 24 years.

A win and their in for the Wings. Or a Sens regulation loss, I guess. If Sens go 1-1 and Wings go 0-2 they are tied but Wings have tiebreaker. Gonna be tough for a team playing like shit though. In Montreal and in Carolina (who played well enough to win last night). Fucking Pens. My anxiety level would be better if they hadn't pulled a huge choke job last night.

Wings have been that for the last month too. Haven't won back to back games in over a month, tried to lose last night, couldn't score on Sunday on a 90 second 5on3, played pretty well on Saturday but still had to go to a shootout, had a 2-0 lead on Boston and gave up 3 goals in 12 minutes in the 3rd to lose it, etc.

From the Wings side, they just don't look desperate enough. I know they are missing some guys and Pavel is banged up but they are getting beat to loose pucks, getting knocked off the puck easily, turning the puck over when not being pressured...I mean ugh. It was difficult to watch last night.

BFF's. We can remember back to the first half of the season where a wildcard spot seemed crazy. "They'll be top 3 in the division for sure."

Re: The NHL Thread

there were many broken glasses and bar stools strewn about last night at the local watering hole. especially after the sens tying goal with the goalie pulled.

it's like a horror movie with the same ending on repeat for the last 2 months. the only reason i know i'm still alive and not dead in Hell is because the flyers are also out of the playoffs.
