Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. A royal blue Islanders (original color) sweatshirt and a islanders leather checkbook (wife knows who pays the bills, lol) were my hockey gifts. I'm happy for the boys returning to action today.

In the offseason the NHL said they were going to do away with that in the offseason. Didn't lead directly to a goal, but it should've been called dead

Saturday night would have been alright but getting out of The Joe sucks big ass so afternoon is much better.

Hockey game related, need to watch Nyquist's OT winner tonight. I think they said he controlled the puck for 28 seconds. Was impressive to watch. And hey...no shootout.
