I have hopes that it gets better over time, once he gets used to the new system and all.

Pretty sure you were a Sabres fan. I'm just not sure you should be making jokes about other people ditching their teams.

i've explained the sabres thing before.

it wasn't even a joke about ditching teams, it was a joke about buying a new hat. if your labia wasn't hanging half way down your hamstring this morning it might not have bothered you so much.

lots of people change teams in here. it's not like ricky said anything false. sarah was a rangers fan, then a kings fan, now both? jon says he grew up watching the hawks, but when i met him he was a caps fan, now he says he's a hawks fan after a couple cups. according to your post you were a sabres fan and now you're a CBJ fan.

what's inaccruate about what ricky said?

This is just my view of it, but Ricky insinuated that he left a crappy team for a good team, when in reality he went from an average Sabres team (which is not crappy) to a crappy Jackets team. Not like he was jumping ship cause the Jackets were good.

Jumping ship is jumping ship. People can dress it up all they want.

Love the becca melt. Not quite sure why he is obsessed with my hats though.

Re: The NHL Thread

1. i made a joke about ricky buying a new hat, carryover from MLB thread discussion yesterday.
2. ricky turned it into switching teams which apparently is more serious than switching religions, genders, jobs, significant others, etc.
3. i was always a casual observer of the NHL as a fan of hockey. did not root for the bruins where i grew up because i hate all things boston. rooted for buffalo because i am a bills fan, however my affiiliation to buffalo is that my dad grew up there but that was before the sabres existed, so there was no real family connection. when i moved to columbus CBJ was the worst team in the league but i went to a ton of games because i enjoy NHL hockey and now they have become the team i root for. i would be happy to see the sabres do well too.
4. next time i decide to root for a team ill make sure to run it by both of you first to make sure we don't have this issue again. you can go back to combing each others pubic hair now.

Re: The NHL Thread

this is the second time this week CBJ has to play two nights in a row with travel against a team that was off the night before.

that just shouldn't happen ever.

Becca no one cares. You can be a team adder. Calm down. You made a joke. Then I made a joke. Then you melted. Solid Friday morning all around.

I rooted for 2 NHL teams for a good 10 years. Then they announced they were re-aligning the conferences and I dropped one. Sue me.

edit: actually it was 12 years. my bad.

rickyh24 10-24-2014 08:25 AM

Pretty sure you can't sue someone for that.

i wonder if the jackets try to trade Prout.

He was a healthy scratch last night

edit: and murray is back soon which means someone else will be gone from the rotation.

Erixon and Goldbeef both looking ok (save for one enormous gaffe by Goldbeef last night)
